   Just visited the Out-Patient section for a scan and blood test. Third visit here and have to compliment all the reception and nursing staff for their care, professionalism, and good humour. Must also commend the Facilities team for the excellent cleaning standards they maintain in this busy part of the hospital. Thank you all for making my visits stress-free!

   Rude staff. Went to see a physiotherapist on the advice of my gp after being in awful pain for over a year, and all I got was insulted by a rude old man and sent on my way. Parking was terrible and building had clearly seen better days, but can't get over how rude the staff were.

   I went for an xray today after months of being in pain and not being able to sleep because of it. To how i was spoken to was intimidating and rude. I phoned to book an appointment yesterday to be told i can just go and the times i was given. Not being told to avoid lunch time which i would of avoided if told so. The radiographer was more bothered about getting back to her lunch than giving proper patient care. Taking it out on a patient because i came at the wrong time. Informing me to keep in mind what time to avoid Its not as if i am planning more than one visit.

   Parking spaces for disabled people could be nearer to the A&E entrance. There are two machines only you need a WiFi card or mobile phone to be able to purchase a coffee or a snack. They do come around every couple of hours with tea or coffee and then toast/sandwiches for free while you are waiting. The staff are very friendly, helpful and understanding of the discomfort of many patients. Whilst there's a wait of many hours depending on your health issues, we can say that we were seen in a methodical and timely manner, and we were very grateful at the outcome.

   Like chasing your tail,,from pillar to post, with GPS and referrals.Ref Adult,ADHD Clinic. THAT IS NOW EXCEPTING PT REFERRALS .And today.23.6.2022 Clinical Staff at Tal Y Garn ,on chasing up my ref ,being told no Adult ADHD Clinic, ATM..Please update your staff,on this information. And not say,to quote there is no Adult ADHD Clinic for Torfaen..

   Parts of this hospital are the second oldest NHS estates in Wales and it shows. Too many services have been withdrawn including GP out of hours, minor injuries and the stroke unit. Temporary accomodation was placed here during the second world war and is still in use.

   Brought my partner to see a specialist here. The car parks & access roads are not adequate for the amount of traffic using them. We have a VW Transporter and it was a tight squeeze negotiating the narrow roads and there were no spaces anywhere so I had to drop him off and wait for him out on the main road. I know this isn’t the fault of hospital staff but maybe the appointment letters could mention that parking is very limited and not suitable for larger vehicles?

   My experience was very good. Never felt uncomfortable here at all. Nurses were lovely and the surgeon that examined me was awsome, very clear in his explanation. I was disappointed in the people parking in the hospital car park they were not going to the hospital they were going out for the day on a bus, about 60 of them, very selfish.
