   Would never go here again. The hospital itself is very dirty. The staff are just rude and disrespectful. As a former nurse I felt humiliated by how I was treated. The triage nurse asked me four times if I had been drinking. I told her I do not drink the first time. She then did not take a full assessment I would have informed that I had tried laxatives to no avail. I had bloods and urine. When having bloods I noticed how dirty the cubicle was with splashes of white stuff up the blue curtain. I was told to put urine on countertop and was worried it would get knocked off. (This is not inline with infection control guidelines) I asked the receptionist how many doctors were working and she did not seem to know, I asked roughly how long the wait response was they are dealing with emergencies t Well I have to say if I did not think my situation was an emergency I would not have rocked up. I have diverticulitis and had a flare up. Went to gp earlier in week, put on antibiotics and told if pain doesn't go or I still cant pass a stool to go A&E. I had followed medical advice and made to feel I had no right being in the hospital. I am a bit concerned as I could in fact have a bowel blockage which is a medical emergency! You can actually die from this. I decided to walk out as they obviously were not taking me seriously. I ask people to avoid this hospital at all costs. Its actually a health hazzard and I will be taking this further

   AE Princess of Wales: on the 17th December this year I attended this facility's Accident and Emergency unit at around 3 AM. I was bleeding profusely and my life was obviously at risk. The staff without delay ushered me through to be treated. Within a short period of time the bleeding was staunched. My clothes were saturated in coagulating blood. I was later transferred to ward 11 where the level of proficiency and kindness of the staff was second to none. I owe my life to the Doctors and staff that attended to me. My special thanks goes out to the rounds doctor who I initially was attended by and the staff on ward 11.

   I want to thank everyone at the AandE dept. for the highly skilled specialists and support staff who helped me earlier this week when I had a serious medical issue. I have nothing but praise for the entire team who worked so hard to give me the best outcome possible, before I was transferred to a specialist unit at another hospital. I will be forever in your debt for what you have done, I have no doubts whatsoever that the actions and hard work done on my behalf have given me the best possible outcome.

   Wanted to say thank you to all the staff in the A&E dept for looking after my mum on 12th October. They were absolutely amazing. Blood tests, x-ray and CT scan all done. They were so friendly, caring and efficient. Well done and thank you x

   Came here for a special birthday. They serve some of the best toast I have ever had in my life - even provided on the house! Service was excellent. They cater for everyone. They also do deliveries but not guaranteed to arrive on time.

   Went in bleeding from the mouth took them ages to look in my throat then when they did they saw my right side was raw so they gave me painkillers, fluids and a clotting agent and left me overnight at 11:30 I decided that I was done and asked to leave I was then told that a doctor wouldn’t be right with me 4 hours later I’m still waiting after asking several more times and they tell me the same thing every time I only wanted to leave but I couldn’t even do that it took longer to leave the place than to get in it worst hospital I’ve been too

   It is a super busy place given the ever growing population that they serve, what with dwindling resources. Yet never in my 12 years of visiting have l ever come accross a receptionist, radiographer, nurse, doctor, consultant, health worker, cleaner or volunteer who was rude or stressed looking, Despite the many challenges they face daily they are always provide professional friendly service with a smile.
