How does this business make any money? Aren't they in the business of selling houses? A simple query like 'Can I talk to one of your valuers?' seems to be beyond them. I have rang this company 3 times over the last couple of months because I am thinking of putting my house on the market. The first time I was told the valuer would call me back. He never bothered. I rang again, and again was told the valuer was out on a call and would call me back. he never bothered. I rang a third time and asked to talk to the valuer. The lady at reception asked me questions and then went to talk to the valuer, I believe. Eventually, she hung up on me. Get your act together. You are in the business of selling houses. To sell houses, you need to talk to potential customers. When your receptionist tells a potential customer that you will call them back, then be true to your word and do so. Keep in mind how many estate agents there are in the Oadby area and you are competing with them for business. Answering telephone calls promptly and returning customer calls would be a good start for your business.

Horrible estate agents with zero accountability Recently moved out from our tenancy and it has taken Oadby over a month to even begin the process of releasing our deposit, only after being threatened with legal action. Have not maintained the building throughout and have left doors in disrepair to the point bikes have been stolen, which they even refuse to acknowledge by email. Have had random people sleeping in the building, dog poop on the landings and nothing done about it. If you can avoid, definitely do

Absolutely awful experience with Oadby Estate. The staff are rude, unprofessional, and completely unreliable. Any time there’s an issue with the property, their attitude is “nothing to do with us,” and they take zero responsibility. I’ve even been told to “check YouTube” for solutions which is disgraceful coming from a supposed professional agent. They operate like complete cowboys, constantly messing clients around, avoiding accountability, and showing no care or integrity in the way they do business. Once they’ve got your money, they don’t want to know. Communication is poor, their attitude is arrogant, and they clearly have no respect for their customers. Avoid Oadby Estate at all costs. They are not professional estate agents Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere.

To handle the sale of a house in Oadby, Oadby Estates stood out over other agents in how they saw and marketed the potential of the house, and in their detailed understanding of the locality. The house was empty, and as I live some distance away they offered to call by regularly to check everything was OK. Anup did an excellent job attracting and vetting potential buyers and always had his finger on the pulse, staying in regular contact, and even supervising minor repairs which the eventual buyer requested. I cannot thank and recommend the whole team at Oadby enough. The initial purchase of my flat was protracted due to a difficult management company who own the building. Oadby correspondence during their management of the flat throughout my 7 years of owning it was always friendly, professional and swift in response. The tenancies were all found and maintained by the rental team - and the flat was barely without a tenant. The sale was difficult with 3 sales falling through, due entirely to the management of the buildings lack of cooperation, but Oadby found a new buyer straight away and we eventually got there! I would not hesitate in using the Oadby team at any time in the future; their knowledge of the area, property and trends are spot on! Plus they are a real nice group of people. I genuinely consider myself very lucky that I had Oadby looking after me, my property and my tenant during this period.
