Stayed overnight to attend the medieval banquet. We stayed in a feature room which was comfortable and well equipped. The hotel was fantastic with modern features but keeping the history alive. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The breakfast was very good fresh produce and hot. The medieval banquet was good fun and the food while being rustic was very tasty.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights to celebrate my 30th birthday in August, and I honestly loved every single second of it. It is incredible value for money and truly feels like a five star experience rather than a four star. The rooms are absolutely insane, huge, spotless, and beautifully designed with a vintage, elegant style that I completely fell in love with. I never wanted to leave the room, especially with the stunning full four poster bed, the large bath, and a separate shower, which was perfect. Everything felt luxurious and thoughtfully done. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make my birthday special. They wrote me lovely cards, provided anything I needed without hesitation, and the room service was spot on every time , always punctual and efficient. The hotel itself is breathtaking. The historic charm is what really makes it stand out, the statues, wall panelling, and the incredible grounds with acres of land, a beautiful lake, and ducks wandering around. It’s absolutely stunning and feels like stepping into another world. If I had to mention one small downside, it would be that the rooms can be quite dark, especially for women wanting to do their makeup, as the lighting isn’t the best. However, because the overall experience was so amazing, it really didn’t take away from my stay at all. Even the food was exceptional. I genuinely cannot fault this hotel , it exceeded all expectations and felt like a luxurious huff class stay. I would 100% recommend it and will definitely be returning. Thank you all .

We come most weeks for a lovely walk and around twice a year we have an afternoon tea which we adore. My husband was 82 last week so we had a super tea and spent the night which was excellent. Staff cannot do enough for you

Stayed a night at Coombe Abbey.as we were visiting the Luminate light experience in the grounds. We had a standard room. It was comfortable but small and the bath was behind a curtain in the corner which was different . It had nice decor and the bed was comfy. The building was grand and the interior opulent. We had an evening meal which was lovely. Some items were were quite pricey but we basically had pie and chips and fish and chips and they were great. Wine was 30 pounds a bottle! As it was 1st Dec it was all kitted out for Christmas so looked lovely inside. All in all it was nice. The breakfast was fab. Help yourself buffet! And Lashford sausages! Would stay again but maybe upgrade the room a bit..

This was our third event at Coombe Abbey Hotel, and once again they nailed it. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful—they’re on hand to make you feel comfortable, handle the little details, and keep things running smoothly from arrival to departure. The hotel itself is fantastic, with lots of quirky rooms and cozy spaces. The historic manor has real character, while the newer event suites offer flexible layouts for conferences, parties, or dinners. There are plenty of options to keep things flowing well, from big keynote sessions in bright, open rooms to relaxed networking in smaller corners. The grounds are a real highlight. There are plenty of nice spots for a stroll, photos, or a quick break between sessions. It’s a well-kept estate with a mix of formal lawns, pretty paths, and quiet corners that invite a bit of downtime. Overall, Coombe Abbey nails hospitality and atmosphere. The staff’s friendliness, the character of the spaces, and the lovely grounds come together to create a memorable event experience.

Went for our 5 year anniversary, booked the spa for two and 1 night. We ended up upgrading our room to the Lindsey room and it is gorgeous. The view in the morning is breathtaking, the wildlife is wonderful to hear and see. I would have my wedding here if I ever get to. Lovely staff who helped us with any queries we had. Food was to die for as well, first time we have had a three course meal. Our breakfast was lovely as well, all self-serve except your teas and coffees. Highly recommend going for the experience and views.

Afternoon tea here is lovely. The finger sandwiches, sweet desserts and scones were delectable. If you want extra sandwiches you'll need to ask for them. The atmosphere and ambience is what you would expect to have in a really nice location like this. I was really happy with my experience and had no complaints.

Came here for a business meeting and did not stay the night. Pay and walk car park Lots of car charging bays that at the time was £0.25 pkw Phone signal is limited but there was free WiFi. The place is lovely, really cool and lovely features. The staff are lovely and the meeting room was very nice. Would love to come back with the family and stay the night.

Beautiful historic hotel, located in 500 acres of parkland. There are feature rooms available, over 190 rooms. Breakfast served in the conservatory restaurant, also used for afternoon teas. Bar food is excellent, well presented, service excellent. They have many function rooms available for weddings and various other celebrations. Medieval banquet is a great experience, the 4 course menu is delicious, entertainment is excellent the staff work really hard, very pleasant evening. Would definitely recommend an overnight stay

We attended the Christmas Carol's with tea function. Setting was very nice but the food was bang average, very little thought went into the design.
