    This is a very standard hotel, with good facilities, (including bar, gym and a tabled outdoor area and an area for kids) and clean rooms. Location is great, not far from the M6, and we use it to stop off halfway between where we live and London, and it has plenty of secure parking. It is dog friendly too, with a short walk to the canal to stretch the furry paws. What really makes this hotel though is the staff - from checking in at reception to the breakfast staff, they are all very friendly and helpful and this whole hotel has a nice warm, down to earth feel about it because of that. Recommended.

    I had to check out earlier than planned, and according to the hotel policy I was charged for the full stay. Naturally, this situation was emotionally disappointing. However, I want to be fair and correct in my review. The charge was clearly based on the booking conditions, and my actual stay at the hotel was very good. The breakfast was excellent β€” a proper British breakfast and honestly the best I’ve had in the UK so far. My room (365) was clean and comfortable. Although it was far from the main area, it was quiet. The internet was fast and reliable throughout my stay, which was important for my work. The gym is small, but perfectly fine. I would also like to give special thanks to Nagid at reception β€” professional, kind, and very helpful. Even though my emotions could easily have been negative due to the early checkout situation, I believe it is important to review the hotel based on the real service provided. I would definitely stay here again.

    We stayed one night . walked into reception greeted by a welcoming and polite gentleman . He went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed by our stay . staff from start to finish were all there to assist you with anything we needed . Upon arriving in our room it was very Clean and neat . The toilet , showroom were exceptionally clean with great toiletries included. The bed was very clean and comfy and had a great night sleep.The breakfast was nice but needed some attention with more staff and more organisation but highly satisfied with the quality of food and amount of options . High recommended to members of the public or business trips ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thanks , Brook and Millie

    Chose to stay here the night before a conference. Room was okay, cleaning job was a 2/5, splashes of stuff up the wall and mould growing in the shower. The bed was incredibly firm and the pillow cases had two small pillows inside which I couldn't quite understand. Overall sleep rating 3/5. Breakfast was good and parking was included.

    Overall experience was okay. Definitely doesn't give 4-star experience. Pros Reception staff were friendly. Breakfast choice was good. Con Carpeting in lobby and room looks and smells old - requires steaming/changing. Atmosphere gives budget hotel

    Well what can I say, this is one of the worse experience I have ever had in a hotel. My room doesn’t have a phone so couldn’t call room service, also because there was no menu, went down to the restaurant and the disappointment just continued, they could only do 2 drinks, mojito and old fashioned and even that was not what I call a Mojito, the disappointment continued with the steak, it clearly was low quality as it took forever to chew and I have a feeling it will take as much to digest, and to top it all, they don’t have any bottled water at all. Very disappointed. Question if the hotel is training their staff and don’t have anything available why doesn’t close for the one/two weeks and open up when fully stocked. Definitely I won’t be back.

    Very run down.. the staff are all over the place. The front of house bar staff are forgetful and don't really have a clue. There's one manager who makes himself look busy but likes to belittle his staff in front of customers. Also he likes to chat to people about his "other business" whatever that is and mainly communicates with men unless the women look a certain way and makes comments but then passes them off as him being cheeky. The rooms a mediocre and my room was situated in the middle of 3 sets of fire doors, which staff go through sporadically through the night and having to get up early with broken sleep throughout the night wasn't much fun. Also the bed dipped on one side, so wasn't overly comfortable to sleep in either. The food was a rip off and not great. Tried selling a burger van frozen burger as an 8oz Aberdeen Angus burger with streaky bacon, which also was just a slice of pretty uncooled back bacon. And when I ordered a medium rare sirloin steak and received a very rare rump steak, I was a little peeved to say the least but got told, the chef says it's sirloin. I said im not happy about it and would like something else, but then got ignored. Pictures have been posted. I definitely wouldn't stay here again even if it was free.

    Really should stop using the cab company that tried to charge Β£70 for an airport trip that cost Β£30 two days earlier... left a bad taste. Hotel was comfortable with lovely staff and processed food.

    I consider it to be over priced for 2 nights Β£310. For Β£310 that doesn't include dinner and breakfast, that comes at additional cost. The hotel fitness suite is an absolute joke. If I brought my ab wheel and resistance bands with me, I would have half the equipment they have. Closing the so called fitness suite at 7pm week days is no good to anyone. If it wasn't for work purpose of needing to stay, I wouldn't have stayed here. I have to endure one more night here.

    Very welcoming staff. Fadika is an amazing person. Kind hearted and humble and good at what he does! You’d see him being so supportive and ensuring you have the best of your stay. The rooms very clean and breakfast amazing. The services are outstanding! Excellent location too…
