   Most comfortable bed ever. But my door handle was loose and could do with fresh paint. Carvery was gorgeous but mash to sweet.

   Lovely food, nice atmosphere, only problem is with the Cavery. You have to ask for peas, then wait a while looking like a right weirdo. But that's the only downside.

   Called in for lunch a few weeks ago , 3 of us had the carvery, all ok except the beef, it was like leather , and the staff agreed it was below standard. My friends say they shantborher again, my advice is it's no good skimming on poor quality meat to save a few quid, serve up good stuff and folks will return.

   The room were just lovely inside, with everything you need, even. A fan, which was great as soo warm when we went, would a been perfect with a tiny fridge in room, as we had some chocolate in room and it melted due to heat. Went to pub next door for tea, and the food was amazing highly recommend. Defo go again

   I was not for a Room, but Food was okey, filling, plus the Staff is okey, just ask and will be answered. Not a lot place inside, kind of Busy like always - as I've been there quite few Times just for the Food. Parking Places - just few off them, sometimes you have to park else where, at least there is other Place to park your Car in.

   Biggest thing for me, being a smoker, was being to smoke directly outside the room's door. It's a motel style block - room doors lead directly outside. Rooms were clean, functional and it shares grounds with a pub that has sports TVs and serves food (and drinks obviously). If you want frills then don't bother but if you want function and convenience then can't recommend it enough. Happy to return when I'm back in the area with work.

   We stayed here in August for a local gaming convention. We stayed two nights, on the second night our hotel room was broken into through the night whilst we were in the room asleep. We informed the hotel of items that were missing and were told the manager would come down to the room and speak to us. We were also informed that they were aware of a break in to multiple rooms (most were empty rooms being renovated I believe) and were waiting to see if any guests were affected. Nobody came down to speak to us after we waited a few hours, I was then told by a receptionist to leave my phone number and the manager will contact me. I still to this day have had zero contact from the hotel regarding this. The rooms themselves are very stuffy and no fan was supplied during a very very hot summer, hence the window to the room requiring to be open over night (there is also no lock/catch on the window to stop it being opened wide leading to the above mentioned security breach). I understand the situation was not the hotels fault, but measures should be in place to A) prevent these situations and B) support customers who have been victims of crime whilst staying at your property.

   Nest and clean. Good for short stays. As it is an inn it may not be strictly fair to judge it like a hotel. Staff are a tad slow to respond. However the rooms are clean and you have all the basic amenities, W-Fi connection etc. The Pub & the restaurant at The Longshoot deserves special mention. They have their own carvery and the cooking is indeed excellent. The bar is well stocked as well with a wide range of spirits available.

   The room me and my fiancé stayed in was lovely, we stayed last year and it was dull and horrible colors, this time it was vibrant and welcoming. Lovely sized room, very nicely laid out, much more appealing on the eye after the revamp.
