My friend and I stayed overnight at Nailcote Hall Hotel as we were attending our Christmas party there, and overall we had a very pleasant experience. Check-in was quick and easy, with a very friendly and welcoming lady on the reception desk. Our room was spacious, clean, and well presented, with a good-sized modern bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities were provided with a nice selection, along with two cans of water, which was a thoughtful touch. The room was well equipped, with two hairdryers, an iron, and a trouser press. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were good, and we both had a great night’s sleep. We also went for a swim in the pool and enjoyed the jacuzzi - very relaxing before our party that evening. Breakfast the next morning was also very enjoyable, offering plenty of choice for both continental and full English options. Tea or coffee was brought to our table, which was a nice service touch. We managed to get a great Black Friday deal and paid just under £45 each, which we felt was excellent value for money. However, I don’t think we would have stayed at the normal full-price rate. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay, especially at a discounted price.

Beautiful and impressive drive up to the hotel, a bit disconcerting for the entrance and exit to be on a traffic light and essentially single file but we managed. There must be a ways to exit through the golf course entrance? Room was well appointed with a clean bathroom and beds were immaculate and very comfortable. As with most hotel rooms the kettle leads are never long enough and I always worry about steam permeating the TV! (Overthinking...) Breakfast - lovely full English and - bonus - there are differnet things on there too... smoked haddock and kippers which is a great change for a non-meat eater. We stayed for evening meal and was treated to a lovely fish pie and my partner had a steak. Very reasonable priced and good quality. The spa area (Ricks Bar) was being set up for a Hallowe'en party but it didn't encroach on the pool and we were out of the spa before it started. Altogether, a fantastic hotel, great value for money and we'll certainly recommend and hope to return. Oh, must mention the resident calico cat, she is beautiful, friendly and very discreet. She technically has access to all of the hotel but in reality there are some very heavy doors kept shut so she cant bother guests who aren't feline friendly. She's basically the office cat who sometimes ventures out into reception. We only saw her once.

Can I just say Wow! We stayed here for our corporate away day on the 12th - 13th of November and It was fantastic. The events team helped me with every query, The price was fanatic with everything that was included. The staff were lovely and accommodating, the meeting space we used for our all day meeting was great, rooms were super comfy and the food was 10/10. We will be considering to stay here again for our next away day, highly recommend.

Room could have done with updating , plug sockets were nowhere near a table and kettle was nowhere near a plug had to be balanced on a low table but room was clean , unfortunately next to a large marquee where music was blasting out till 1am ! Food was very meagre portions I think the pavlova (meringue nest) must have cost them 70p to make ! For a three course meal for £40 it was very underwhelming. Breakfast though was very nice

Attended for a Xmas party night. We were pleasantly surprised. Used the pool and steam room. Bedroom nice and spacious, very clean. Staff friendly, unlike some Xmas dos, the party carried on way after 1 o clock, no one hurried us away. Breakfast good, I consider it good value for money.

The hotel is pet-friendly, which is fine- some people like to take their pets with them when they travel. What's not fine is when a dog in the next room starts violently barking at midnight, you call the front desk to report it, and the concierge says "Well what do you want ME to do about it?" with an attitude. When I called again half an hour later he put the phone down on me mid-sentence. I hope you like sleeping in a hot room, because if you don't keep the radiator switched on and turned to at least 4 it makes a clattering sound and hisses like there's a massive snake in the room. We ended up having to sleep with the windows wide open in November. The bathroom extractor fan didn't work, which led to the bedroom feeling clammy during our whole trip. We reported this when we first arrived and were told it would be added to the maintenance list, but after three days it still wasn't sorted when we left. The shower screen also leaked, which led to a pool in the bathroom when you bathed. We stayed in one of the new wings which was apparently built with paper- we could hear the people on either side of us having normal conversations through the walls. The grounds themselves were really well-manicured and scenic, with a lovely little ruin to one side that's very nice for pictures. The pool, hot tub, and steam room were our favourite part. Always quiet, and manned by friendly, funny members of the team.

Recently held my daughters wedding at this wonderful venue, staff went over and above to make the day special for the bride, groom and guests. Stayed 2 nights, room was a delight and the breakfast very good. Have also played the Par 3 Course, after being fed a hearty breakfast, a few times. Would thoroughly recommend it as Wedding of Golf venue.
