   The only 4 good things I can say about this "hotel" is the TV Programm is large and the breakfast was ok and staff is friendly and an ok location. I was given room 20 which are most pictures of this should not be rented at all! It had all of it from broken shower rail to dead insects on the floor and mold in the corners of the window and a notch job of sealing all the holes around the shower and a broken sink included and been freezing cold during the night. After I complained I was given room 4 which was better. Downside the bed lined had stains of whatever that was from the previous occupation, the shower produced only cold water even after running it for 10 minutes in all setting and yes I used the switch on the sealing to switch it on first. The function rooms are nice but the hotel rooms I stayed in are in need of a ull refund asap. Outdated interior old carpet and bathrooms of nightmare. I get it that that is expensive to update rooms but having an room check of working shower and clean bed linen and clean floors is just a cleaning job. Not rocket science. Worst hotel experience I had for centuries.

   I’ve never stayed at Haigs so cannot comment on their rooms, however after eating a meal at the establishment recently, I was welcomed with an aroma which can only be described as unpleasant, on entrance. Further to this food was adequate at best. A refurb is definitely due. Sad to say I don’t think i’ll be returning for a meal in future.

   Poor overall it would take too long to write basic conditions of room and not been clean correctly is a issue .room smell like had a hidden nappies or something to description. Dust over all appliances .you could clearly see where not clean room or prepare correctly.

   Stayed for 2 nights. Very helpful & pleasant staff. 2 very nice dinners; the menu was somewhat limited. Excellent full english breakfast. Room very pleasant & clean; bed was comfortable. Only criticism is the absence of a light over the mirror above the dressing table.

   We visited the hotel for a wake on the afternoon of the Queen's funeral, this was a Bank Holiday. The hotel serving staff were friendly and efficient. The sandwiches and cakes were tasty The room was spacious with seating for most people and room to circulate. A good venue for such an event.

   We stayed in the hotel fir the weekend and had a lively time. The rooms were clean and provided toiletries and hairdryer. Tea and coffee was available in room. All rooms had a fan. The gardens are beautiful and relaxing to sit in. Staff were very helpful and polite and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good and no restrictions on what you could have. Would happily stay there again
