   We have stayed her in the past and normally great obviously changed hands no restaurant open ? Morning cuppa in paper cups such a change great venue going to loose a lot of trade . And no heating downstairs even staff had coats on !! I know there are other places to eat but due to location you will need to drive or get a cab !

   Warm friendly welcome by a member of staff. We had a beautifully decorated and very clean and comfortable room. Lots of tea and coffee in our room.large kettle. Linen very clean. The hotel is smart , historic and beautifully decorated and designed . Paintings and photos of nearby Kenilworth castle . Heritage trails close by. Great interesting location . Historic. We enjoyed our cooked breakfast . Beautiful dining area . Spacious clean and comfortable . Also choice of cereal , fruit , yogurt , apple juice , croissants , toast . The artwork and decoration in the hotel is beautiful and interesting . Great value and we will return .

   Nice room though mattress hard. Few more luxury touches needed like hair dryer, daily housekeeping to top teas, coffees, etc up. A walk in shower is a must for some. Windows need changing too. Would be more upmarket with more things happening. Leaflets for visitors would be useful too and reception more inviting. Staff polite though. Feel this hotel is more for work travellers. Need to ensure hot food is hot!

   I stayed at this hotel 10 days ago with my husband . It’s really a great value for money. The cleaning is good and the staff is very friendly. One of the housekeepers, a lady named Gun, was very nice and extremely helpful. She provided excellent service and kept the room very clean. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay.

   My boyfriend and me stayed here for 2 nights. We thought the hotel was lovely. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are friendly. Very quiet Nothing is to much trouble for the staff I asked for a hair dryer and within minutes brought one to my room. Loads of parking. Would highly recommend a stay here and dont be put off by the bad reviews.

   Clean and comfortable hotel. Comfortable bed and nice restaurant. Good luck though tracking staff down if you need anything. A person at the reception desk would have meant 5 stars.

   A conveniently positioned hotel for the NEC, I wouldn’t recommend it for the airport though as you do need a car. The hotel room I stayed in needs refurbishing: doors and windows that don’t shut properly, poor paintwork and grouting, cracked tiles. The sheets could be larger, they don’t seem to fit the bed, but the mattress was comfortable and the duvet warm enough. There’s a nice selection of biscuits which I enjoyed, and the water was both hot and under good pressure, so a good shower was a positive for me. Less positive was the cleanliness of the loo, a good dose of bleach wouldn’t go amiss. I must mention the staff, who were most accommodating and friendly. The night manager in particular went out of his way to help me print out an important document I had forgotten, and whilst he wasn’t able to do it straight away, once he had, he came up to my room and slipped it under the door - absolute legend. Use this hotel if you are on a budget and aren’t too fussy. The staff make up for the hotel room’s state of dilapidation.

   Great staff. We had a pleasant stay. The bedrooms are very clean. The decor is beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious. And the dogs are allowed. A very interesting value for money! We hope to return!

   I've never ever left a bad review until now. The bad. Unfortunately the rooms were not clean, carpets dirty and fridge thick with dust. Windows were rotten / needing a paint. The rooms are so badly needing redone. No hot breakfast during the week. The good. Clearly understaffed but the staff that were there to be fair were very friendly. The food was great certainly no complaints there.
