   We had a wonderful overnight stay at this beautiful location. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed a delicious meal on arrival, which was a lovely start to our stay. Breakfast the next morning was superb, with plenty of choice and great quality. Even though it was New Year’s Eve, the room was peaceful and quiet, allowing us to have a really relaxing night’s sleep. We couldn’t fault our experience and would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. We would happily return!

   Visited this place for a conference - the location itself is really good although kind of in the middle of nowhere, the rooms were lovely and spacious, but my air-conditioning didn’t work, which was a shame. I had a few very minor issues with keys not working for the room and the staff were super helpful and definitely couldn’t do enough for me. The gym is quite small and quite warm in the actual gym itself, the pool looked quite small as I could see it from the window, but I didn’t see anything about the spa. Breakfast was okay and had a decent selection. The free parking was a welcomed bonus. You just need to make sure that you get the barrier code from reception before you leave.

   Disappointing meal — not what I expected from a hotel restaurant. I ordered the chicken tikka curry, which was clearly a pre-packaged or microwave-style meal rather than freshly prepared. The texture and flavour were identical to a supermarket ready meal — not something I’d expect to be served in a hotel setting. Service was polite, but the food quality didn’t justify the price or setting. If you’re looking for a proper freshly cooked meal, I’d suggest eating elsewhere.

   Stayed one night for a local dog show. The room was excellent, clean and on the ground floor with a door out onto the grounds, perfect for the dog 5/5 The hotel was well kept, the parts I saw, and seemed busy but had a pleasant atmosphere and staff were very good.5/5 The food in the bar was unfortunately disappointing, hence the reduction to 4 stars, the fish and chips had either been over cooked or reheated. The batter was very hard and had to be removed to eat the fish, the chips also seemed to be reheated. 2/5. However I would stay again for the facilities and venue but (if we were not just unlucky) may choose to dine elsewhere

   I came for an overnight stay and was wowed as soon as I got there. It was lovely. Beautiful decor and room was a fantastic size. The spa was so relaxing and the food afrom the bar and restaurant was delicious. Had a bath in the room which was fab. Breakfast was all great quality products. Staff were friendly and professional. Cant wait to cisit again. The only downside was 1 of the beds mattress protector had a stain and the pillow was a little dirty but it did not ruin our stay at all staff were very accommodating

   Bedroom was clean. Bed was comfortable. Meeting room was a good size and with natural light. Food was amazing. Employees were great, very helpful and friendly. Monika and Elizabeth during the breakfast were superstars. Junella and Elliot during the dinner service were very good. Anita or reception was very helpful when I needed to extend my reservation. Harriet was a real gem throughout the whole stay. Thank you for my lovely stay.

   Looks like most higher end hotel/conference centre/gym/Spa places. Unfortunately, I found it very underwhelming. I wonder if the issues are down to visiting during the frantic festive season, if I'm going to be generous. The staff seemed to be under pressure and not very happy, with the exception of the bar staff in the evening, who were all cheerful and full of banter. I know I didn't pay for it, but someone did, and really didn't get their money's worth.

   We had our wedding at the hotel with the Roast and Toast package and stayed a few days extra. The service was excellent. The staff where very friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast excellent choose available. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Friends and Family stayed and all had a wonderful time. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

   Beautiful hotel. Rooms very nice size and will equipped. 2 young lads serving in the restaurant were absolutely amazing. Very polite and very friendly. Restaurant manager also great. Asking us and making sure that we had everything. Felt very well looked after.

   A wonderful stay from the beginning. The hotel has recently been upgraded so the rooms, decor and furnishings were beautiful and tastefully done. The breakfast was very good catering for vegetarian and gluten free guests. Staff all friendly and welcoming. Set in beautiful surroundings with nature trails
