“Fantastic value from Bancroft. My wife and I needed a place to crash during an NEC event. Having never used a guesthouse before, I was rather dubious. Bancroft exceeded my expectations! Victoria, the owner, was friendly, discreet and helpful. She provided a lovely upstairs room. Three large beds with optional fans for those of us that like air! My wife enjoyed breakfast one day. Excellent value and cooked to order. I will not hesitate to rebook next time I visit a conference. Apologies for the lousy picture and movie. They do not do justice to the establishment. Recommended.”

“Fantastic, staff are brilliant and compassionate. Our regular vet is Georgina, who is an angel and amazing. Not sure why it is not promoted more but she also conducts acupuncture, our 17 year old cat is benefiting so much from this and Georgina has been extremely caring towards her, unlike some other vets we have experienced. Besides Georgina, the rest of the staff are also lovely. We are so pleased to have found this veterinary practice.”

“From the vets to the nurses to the reception staff everyone is so friendly and helpful. It can be a worrying time taking your pet to the vets but the staff are so reassuring and explain everything before any procedure goes ahead. Molly is always greeted by her name on arrival and actually pulls on her lead to go in as she knows she gets a treat. Molly has regular monthly injections for allergies and has had two very successful crutiate surgeries on her hind legs. Avonvale check her regularly and I couldn’t be happier with the service we receive”

“Well presented Waitrose and great choice of quality food. Taking everything into account, we think it’s great value to shop here. We have noticed the modern buildings are in need of maintenance and attention to detail. Please do not let standards slip”

“Excellent service from very helpful staff. Really nice room (a refurbished one) and public areas. The car park couldn't handle a full hotel but that was exacerbated by a few vans taking up more than one space. Don't arrive after 9pm and expecting a space! Handy for the NEC and cheaper than the on site hotels there.”

“Winston (a maltese) and Jackie have been best friends for some time now. Jackie is patient and caring to which Winston responds very well. He always looks trim and proud at the end of his grooming session, as he knows he looks good.”

“Great care for my cat. I know my cat will be well looked after. We have used paws and claws many times now and know our cat is in safe hands. Very caring and always gives our cat a fuss and he's very grateful for it.”

“Andy and his colleague recently cleaned all the carpets in my home. The service received was brilliant. They were punctual, courteous and hardworking. The carpets looked and smelt amazing. “Great location, nice and peaceful. Rooms were immaculate, homely and very comfortable. Kenilworth Castle is a short walk away and Stratford-upon-Avon not too far a drive either. Tamarind was a great host, at the end of a phone for any queries. Home made cake and teas were a lovely welcome. Tamarind went out of her way to make our room up early. Beds were really comfortable with a lovely view of endless fields. Our stay ended with a breakfast with everything we needed. Fresh fruit, juice, yoghurts and a hot breakfast wrapped up a perfect stay. We'll definitely return.”

“Thank for looking after our girls for the last few years Alison and Team. I recommend the Fur Inn Cattery. You can rest assured that your Cats (and other small animals) will receive the very best care whilst you are away from them. Alison will always send you photos and updates on your pets to give you that extra peace of mind when you start to miss them (with us, that’s about 2 hours!). Please don’t forget to book early as this leading, excellent cattery fills up quickly. For July/August holidays, I’d try not to leave it later than late January!!!”

“We reserved a handicap room. It didn't make a difference for me, but the shower had about a 6" threshold. Otherwise, the room was perfect. The service and food were perfect.”

“I live locally so a great place to pop over to.. It's an old quaint traditional hotel pub restaurant..it's a Chef and Brewer and always has a great menu with offers..food is freshly made..good portions and lovely friendly staff..in the Summer you can sit outside by the river. Highly recommend”

“Stayed for 2 nights. Very helpful & pleasant staff. 2 very nice dinners; the menu was somewhat limited. Excellent full english breakfast. Room very pleasant & clean; bed was comfortable. Only criticism is the absence of a light over the mirror above the dressing table.”

“We usually go to the Broad Lane surgery, but due to not being able to get an appointment for 2 weeks, we were redirected to the Balsall Common practice. Loads of car parking, no waiting, straight in and out. Even left the car there whilst we walked the dog around a lovely park, behind the shops, which, in all my years I never knew existed.”

“I came for an overnight stay and was wowed as soon as I got there. It was lovely. Beautiful decor and room was a fantastic size. The spa was so relaxing and the food afrom the bar and restaurant was delicious. Had a bath in the room which was fab. Breakfast was all great quality products. Staff were friendly and professional. Cant wait to cisit again. The only downside was 1 of the beds mattress protector had a stain and the pillow was a little dirty but it did not ruin our stay at all staff were very accommodating”

“I visited Sainsbury's early in the morning on way into Kenilworth. Its very clean and organised and there are lots of staff willing to help who are on shop floor organising the shelves. I also love the organic range that Sainsbury's sell and regularly pop in after work to get a few bargains at the end of a day. This store also has an Argos on the premises. There is plenty of parking and a great wine range too. I enjoy having this store and enjoy collecting nectar points.”

“My husband and I stayed to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The staff were very helpful from the very first time we contacted them via email to arrange the booking with Roxanna. Our evening meal in the restaurant was superb. In fact I would say it was the best meal I have had in many years. I highly recommend the herb crusted lamb and both my husband and I agreed that the sticky toffee pudding was pure heaven. Geeva & Gael were very attentive serving staff and very pleasant. We chose to have a few drinks in the bar and again, Ashley the barman was a delight. Attentive, pleasant and friendly. Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we look forward to staying again in future”

“Such a lovely set up. Our 5 pigs were looked after so well whilst we were away for 5 nights over the new year. Would highly recommend emily. She made sure that our pigs all had plenty of space in their accommodation....no mean feat considering ours needed to be split into 2 lots of 2 and a single pig! Will definitely be returning”
