   I'm afraid it was a terrible stay. The host was fine but arguments right outside our room from 11.50 pm to 1.50am and again from 6.10am till 7am ,,noise from bin movements at 6am and finally when we were leaving we found sticky drink all over our car. Not good.

   The hotel is well located, and walking distance to a few restaurants should you choose not to eat in the hotel which has two restaurants with great choice and good quality food and service. Bedroom I had on the second floor was small but clean and comfortable but not for a tall person in the bathroom/ shower. Stuff were helpful and friendly, so apart from the room being tiny, a great little place to stop in when in this area

   Really enjoyed our stay here. The room was nicely appointed except for the TV, which was a waste of time. We ended up watching on our laptop. Think that would be a new investment to bring the room into the 21st century. Other than that we can't fault our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a lovely Malaysian restaurant on site. Good value and only 25 mins from the NEC.

   We stayed here as we were attending an exhibition close by. We had a double room on the first floor and our daughter had a single room on the top floor. The rooms were clean and warm, our room was a bit small, if you're above a small or medium build you won't get around the bottom of the bed. The shower cubicle was a bit small, my elbows kept hitting the shower doors. We also had a cupboard just outside of our room, we discovered it was where a macerator was installed so was quite loud when in use. The banging doors as people came in and up the stairs was also a bit noisy. Our daughters room was much quieter by contrast. Breakfast was quite adequate, a choice of cereals and yogurt and a small cooked breakfast, that was served on a warmed plate ( definitely score an extra star for that). The staff were very polite and helpful.

   The first room I was allocated immediately made me feel uneasy, the curtain was hanging off the rail and doesn't fully close, which on a ground floor room is even worse. There is a loft hatch in the room with nothing to show it's not accessible which to me as a lone female was an absolute nono. They accommodated a room change no questions asked though and the second room was better but by that point I was freaked out by every noise and there were a lot because the walls are so thin so I didn't really sleep at all. I only interacted with 2 staff members but both were friendly and polite. The first room in particular is not hotel standard and needs addressing.

   For the price you pay this place is top notch. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the room was very nice and clean. I will say the ceilings and walls were a little thin so if you’re a light sleeper I’d recommend bringing ear plugs. However this didn’t affect our stay nearly enough for me to not want to come again. If you’re planning on eating at the Malaysian restaurant here as well, the food is very very yummy

   Dirt and limescale build up in shower and around tap in bathroom. No hot water to the sink. Desk needs new vinyl or replacing. Plug next to bed in right socket doesn't work unless held in place. Staff are lovely and very helpful and very accommodating. Room 207
