He is highly experienced and provides a very professional service from the moment you are welcomed until the end of the appointment, with clear, detailed explanations of the test results and valuable advice on looking after my eye health and choosing lenses that suit me.    First time to visit Opticians in Wales. Staffs so helpful & professional. Booking was easy & quick. I have done eyes test days ago. The lady & optometrist Mr. Martin helping me to do the test who so nice & patience. Very good & impressive experience in Wales.

   Having been to a few different opticians over the years I have to say Vision Express have been really good. The eye test was thorough and well done, the person who helped me pick a pair of glasses I like didn't try and steer me toward only the most expensive pairs as some places do and everyone I had interactions with were very good. Overall it is an excellent place to get glasses from; it is professional, easy to get to and has a good selction of quality frames.

   After a really bad experience at the other big opticians around the corner, I visited Vision Express Cardiff. Nicole at Vision Express was so helpful and understanding. She didn’t try to oversell to me and explained everything clearly. There was a really good selection of prescription sunglasses at the Cardiff store so I got what I needed in less than half an hour. Shortly afterwards I received a text to say my glasses were ready to pick up and again Nicole helped me with resizing them to fit. The glasses are perfect and I’m so much happier with my choice at Vision Express.

   Just come from there, I complained that my £500 glasses were scratched despite having scratch resistant coating and only two months old. Very rude manager I overheard telling the person you was seeing to me that it’s tough if I scratched them it’s my problem. Rang HQ to complain turns out they are still under warranty- Shame on you for not even checking! All sorted and repaired after a call from their HQ. - changed to 5 star

   Absolutely scammers, staff aren’t friendly at all. Manager booked an appointment to bring my glasses in to see what problem I had. Finished my shift early to visit them, managers was not there & the staff who served me wasn’t helpful. My glasses were under warranty and asked me to pay for a new frame which their frames aren’t any good enough to waste my money on. I wouldn’t Recommend this place to anyone you better off going to somebody professional with respect. I will not be paying my visit here again waste of time and money to be honest.

   Visited the store on Friday with my husband, both for an eye test. I would highly recommend Vision Express Cardiff. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Would also like to give an extra mention to Mihai, he went the extra mile and helped us both, always with a smile.

   Misunderstanding and messing up with appointments and service. I had an eye test as I needed glasses, I payed over £200 and ordered trial contact lenses. My husband came with me to order lenses. Had his eye test and the lady who sorted out my glasses said she will order lenses for both of us. I got the call that my lenses arrived. I asked about my husband's. They didn't order his lenses, they didn't even know about it. They promised to call me back in 30mins to find out what happened. I waited an hour, I called them, I was on hold for 30mins, they said he only had an eye test, no lense test even though I booked it as a contact lense trial and I told them minimum 3x in store that he needs lenses. Not even a single sorry or apologise. Not sure why they didn't care about details or if they made a mistake at least say sorry. Just because he did not par hundreds of pounds for glasses just as I did, it doesn't mean they are free to ignore him.. last time I went into that store. I will collect my glasses and never return again. Please give some more training for the staff, they need it

   I visited the store with my girlfriend while she was having an eye test. Whilst waiting I discussed my broken glasses with a worker called Mihai. He was fantastic and sorted both my glasses out which had been slightly worse for wear. He was very approachable and very helpful.
