   My Husband and I have just finished a three night stay at the Sandringham Hotel in Cardiff in room 107. The Hotel is ideally located, just a 5 minute walk from Cardiff Central Train station, and literally just around the corner from the major Shopping Centre and Christmas Market. The Hotel Staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are no thrills, but most importantly they are clean, tidy, comfy and the shower is piping hot. Some people will find an issue with NO lift, and steep stairs leading up to the Reception area, but this is unavoidable. Given a little TLC and a bit of an update, the Hotel could be a hidden little jewel in Cardiff, but for price, friendliness, cleanliness and location it's perfect.

   Loved staying here, its definitely 2* as a hotel but the staff are friendly and the room was rather comfy! My only gripes were with our fan, it was all warped up so it sounded like it was an electric cheese grater when on - so we didnt use it during our stay and the loudness of the buskers outside. Though their ever increasing drunkeness was funny it did disrupt our sleep, no fault of the hotel but its location does mean it'll happen occasionally! Lovely place though for a night or two and central too!

   The hotel is the best location ever! It’s in the city center, a few minutes from the train and bus stations, and close to all the main attractions. The staff was very friendly and nice, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The price is also very good, I recommend booking directly through them as it’s cheaper than doing so through other platforms! Will definitely stay there again!!

   I stayed herr before and reallh liked it, but this time the toilet didnt work properly, the internet in my room was really bad which got me in trouble during a work call and then they told me in not a very nice manner ro leave 1115 even though my check out was 1200 as I booked with them directly (as requested by them). They did correct this, but didnt really appreciate the disfurbance or the tone of the lady who talked to me like I had committed a felony. Room was fine otherwise, receprion staff was pleasant, and good value for money.

   Great location, hotel is basic and definately 2 star, but good breakfast. Great if you need a place to stay, but not if you're spending time in the room. There is no lift. At the weekend its right in the middle of town, pretty noisy at night.

   Stayed for just 2 nights in room 205 and I can say that the hotel is definitely a value for money. I can see that they are putting an effort to make our stay as good as possible and Alison was always helpful. Bear in mind that there is no lift which was fine for me, and as this is in the very centre of the city, which is an excellent location, it can obviously get a bit loud, but nothing that kept me up at night during my stay. The room was clean and had everything I needed. I would personally recommend it.

   Great hotel, lovely staff. Right in the centre. A bit noisy some evenings but only to be expected for such a central location. The night staff were very accommodating, daughter had food delivered so was on her own at main door and the gentleman kept an eye and made sure she was ok whilst down there.

   The lady on reception was so helpful couldn't get more helpful it was the French lady. The hotel is very old fashioned and needs major overhaul. Our room wasn't very clean dust all over the walls stains on walls and curtains. Bedding was really cleanand towels

   Brilliant hotel located in the middle of all the night-time action. Booked directly with hotel and Simon couldn't do enough for me. Always back to email questions promptly. We were a group of 10 lads on a 20 year college reunion and this hotel couldn't have worked out better for us. Simple breakfast was also served but with a great big smile. Keep up the great work and will definitely book again if we are back in Cardiff.
