I was seen today by the vet and nurse though it was very near closing time They waited for me and gave Ella the help she needed . Everyone here is amazing . Yes it is more expensive than a lot of other practices but the service and care make it worth it . Thanks again
The staff here clearly prefer dogs over cats. On several occasions this was obvious. I am now registered with a different vet who treat my pets fairly, but going to a different vet has also opened my eyes on how over priced this vet is!
Used to go to this vet but since 2022/23, the service level has dropped significantly. Booked annual appointments months in advance to make sure the vet is in, only took them less than 2 days or even less 2 hours on the day to the appointment time to cancel. Very disappointing and try to avoid as they obviously don’t need your business!
Today I have spoken to the Lovely Claire from Witton branch. She delivered beyond amazing customer service. Gave me all the correct information regarding benefits for my pet club plan .Was patient and positive attitude. She was superstar.
I have used this vets for over 25 years and took their health scheme for my puppy. We moved house a couple of weeks ago so asked to stop the scheme , they refused so kept the appointment this week but the traffic was so bad I rang and said we would be 10-15 minutes late to which I was told that the vet probably wouldn’t see me. When we arrived the nurse said she would weigh him but the vet couldn’t see him, it’s funny that many times I have been left waiting for my appointment for 20+ minutes. They were very curt and unaccommodating. I will never go back there - shame….
My 13 year old cat needed dental extractions. I was worried that he might have problems with the anaesthetic. I was assured that all the pre op tests would be carried out and his dosage given accordingly. I left him at 8-45 am and returned home to pace the floor and scare myself witless by looking at Google ! After what seemed a lifetime the phone rang at 1-15 pm and I was informed that Baker was ‘ ready to go ‘ with no ill effects. My relief was enormous. So, as I write it is 2.30pm… Baker has woofed up a plateful of wet food and is now grooming himself. I have nothing but fulsome praise for all the staff at Alcombe : professional, caring and made my darling Bakers extractions literally as painless as possible. Thank you, thank you… thank you… This review was incorrectly assigned to the Twickenham practice… it is for the Ealing, Northfields one….
My dog has been registered here since we got him about 2 years ago, and we've had a really good experience. All the staff we've had contact with have been really lovely and friendly, they aren't at all pushy, and they've all looked after our dog really well. Definitely recommend!
This vet is one the of the most welcoming & friendly vets there is. They truly care about your animals and although my dog Frank is a nervous patient, he always feels better once he has the the warm welcome of everyone at Alcombe.
The vets at Alcombe in Whitton are amazing. They are so understanding and give lots of lovely attention to our dog Teagan who can get anxious going to the vets but Alice puts her (and us) totally at ease. Highly recommend and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.
I recommend 100% this vet. Staff are such professional, helpful, considerate and friendly. the communication with the doctors has always been very supportive, professional and thorough. bookings are smooth and prices are good.
