Ok as long as you don't spend more than £60 per night. Rooms are nothing to write home about - just functional. Lighting is poor - it is either very dim bet lights or full on bright 'big' room lights. Bathroom is decent at least. Plenty of parking. Would stay again. Btw, ev charging here is outrageously expensive.

Visited for the first time yesterday. Must say it was a lovely experience. Rooms were lovely and clean. All the features like the Tv and ac works. Lovely bathroom, very clean. I did purchase premier plus rooms, so only speaking for that. Great parking availability also. Would definitely recommend.

I loved this Premier. Great Location for Cardiff and Barry Island. Bus stops right outside. We had a premier plus room, the fridge was rubbish and the bed was not made very well so we had to remake it ourselves but apart from that it was amazing and I would highly recommend.

I stopped here to charge an EV that I had hired. The process of connecting was smooth enough though I was somewhat alarmed to see a flat charge of £35 before I had even started charging my batteries. This £35 is a sort of cover charge from which the cost of charging the vehicle is subtracted, I guess. The location is okay, though a little hard to find. There is no cafe to buy a coffee that I could see, just some drink and snack machines. I wouldn’t come back here if there was another charging station that was closer.

Had a pleasant 2 night stay here for the Oasis gig in Cardiff. The lady at reception on the day was so pleasant and friendly when we checked in. Rooms were comfy & airy for the hot July weather. I had left items behind in the hotel when we checked out, both Rachel & Georgia went above and beyond communicating via email about my lost items and posted them out to me again. The customer service was excellent and for that alone I would recommend this hotel. Thanks guys!

Excellent service, Clean and spacious rooms. Great restaurant. Breakfast was a bit of a letdown but not a deal breaker.

My wife and I had booked for one weekend night while visiting family & friends in the Cardiff area. Reception staff were a tad off-hand - not rude, but not particularly welcoming. The room (ground floor) and bathroom were clean, but the room smelled unpleasantly musty. The bed (as with all Premier Inn beds) and pillows were very comfortable and the bedding was spotlessly clean. However, the hotel had provided towels for one person only. From previous experience when the two of us stay in a Premier Inn, there is one bath towel and a smaller hand towel on the towel rail; the extra towels for the second person are placed in or on the wardrobe, but not this time. By the time we realised we were short of a set of towels we'd changed for bed and didn't want to go to reception to ask for towels. It wasn't that big a deal, but it demonstrates lack of attention to detail by hotel housekeeping staff and management. The attached Beefeater was OK for breakfast. The whole place (hotel and Beefeater) could do with being refreshed and spruced up.

Rooms are good value and very clean. The pub and restaurant needs a deep clean, all the tables and menus are sticky and cups are dirty. The staff are good. The food is not bad. Would give more stars if everything was clean.

Easy to get to off the M4. The car park is a bit misleading, go to the end turn right & right again this will get you close to the reception. Staff were happy and helpful even at 9pm. We were on the first floor which wasn’t a problem for us. Didn’t notice a lift. As per usual with our previous Premier Inn stays clean rooms and very comfortable beds. I recommend that you don’t have breakfast at the Beefeater next door . Whilst in the area and you have time I do recommend the St Fagans history museum 10 minutes away.

A very good Premier Inn in a good location, not too busy but also not out of the way. Given that it is a Prmier Inn you know what to expect but they try to go that little bit further in service. The dining experience was standard but good - nowhere near as cramped as some Premier Inns can be.
