Had Sunday lunch here with friends, all very nice so much returned following mid week for normal menu. Both the service and welcome is 5 star on both occasions. A good selection of drinks available, nice cosy atmosphere though weather outside was very wet and windy. Seafront hotel so to be expected lovely friendly staff. Food 10 out of 10

Great beach front location. Quite basic single room overlooking concrete annex. Comfy bed and lovely long bath. Generous evening meals. Coach group booking so breakfasts took over an hour wait before food arrived at table. Then staff in rush to clear tables with slop bucket whilst guests still eating. Manager

My family and I stopped at the restaurant for drinks and food. This is a really nice place and the food was really nice. They have a good choice of drinks to choose from, and they had Murphy stout on draught. There is plenty of seating inside and out. The staff were really nice and friendly.

Had a lovely stay here recently. The room was basic but spotless. We had an upgrade to a balcony room which is worth paying the extra for. Stunning view without noise from the street or bar's terrace below.

The manager Tina is very rude and abrupt with people, so is her daughter/daughter in law who walks about swinging her ponytail with a pen through it! All other staff, waitresses and waiters, bar men/ women were lovely, polite and a pleasure to be around. The room had a lovely view, was very dusty but the bedding was clean and beds comfortable. The entertainment was good, the bar was very expensive and didn't have a lot, no cider, curdled Bailey's, no bottled beers eg desperados, peroni or Corona. The management let's this place down! They can not keep getting away with being like that with people and charging them prices, absolutely ridiculous. We definitely will not be coming back to this hotel.

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay. If you get the opportunity to stay in the first floor sea facing rooms with a balcony, you are in for a treat in the morning when you open your window and step outside to the wonderful view. Food is worthy of a mention, not sure where the chef trained but the presentation and quality of the meals is akin to Ramsey! Pork belly strips never tasted so good, and the chicken and stilton was out of this world. However, the biggest thanks go to the staff! Helpful, down to earth and hardworking. We will definitely be coming back and cannot wait until we do. 100%

We had a fantastic meal here on holiday. There was something for all the family; the fussy youngest child, the adventurous older child, the vegetarian and the tapas loving, proud carnivore! The staff were all friendly, helpful and chatty, giving recommendations and asking the kids what they'd been up to and what they would like to do next. The food arrived in good time, presented well and, most importantly, tasting delicious. The toilets were clean, pleasingly decorated and smelling fresh. I wish we'd come back here in our 2nd night, because wanting to sample some other restaurants led to a massive hangry meltdown from the kids and a take away being taken back to our holiday accommodation! Will make our lives easier and just come back here next time :-)
