we attempted to stay here for 2 nights whilst we were visiting for the cardiff christmas markets , however this quickly made a turn when we were lead to be stranded and cold in cardiff due to the staff kicking me and my 2 15 year old children out of the hotel due to lack of βproof of ageβ towards my children despite them both being with an adult (myslef). Staff were rude, misinformative and lacked any compassion toward the situation. After a long conversation of how we were unable to stay me and my children decided to vacate somewhere else and defiantly more pleasant. We were told we would get a refund of our payment (Β£93) within 7 days and weβre fine to wait. A week had approached and no refund had been acquired, as a result i rang the hotel and was refused a refund and the whole situation was dismissed and staff were rude and excused themselves with fact we werenβt able to prove ages. Never before have i stressed this much before christmas time, this has ruined my whole stay and financial situation just before christmas time and staff should really be ashamed of their behaviour towards CHILDREN. We never approached the interior of the hotel , only the reception but what we saw this was a run down, belittled area aswell as the building being trashed with rubbish and overdue amendments to it. 100% would not recommend!

One of the worst place I stay over for work room wasn't tidy bad odour from shower brings in to the room possible from drains not properly refurbished toilet at all. Mattress wasn't comfortable to sleep on. Shower water pressure was so slow I could wash in sink better and takes 1h to get warm water out from shower so horrible For that price what they charge 35Β£ max per night not 90Β£ some b&b it's better set up. Only staff was ok st the reception and location of the hotel

Absolutely horrible rooms. Like a very old retirement home. The bathroom was clean but so old and tired, while the shower itself was totally abysmal. Carpet very tired and a mismatch of furniture. Staff were genuinely lovely and helpful. The location is an absolute hell hole, but is close to the stadium.

Great location for the hotel, only around 10 minute walk into the town and the stadium not far away at all. Rooms are good for the price. Service is awful, tried to charge me extra for the room I already paid for with no real explanation, was a rugby weekend so i assume they were trying to make a quick quid. Be careful if booking and make sure you have your confirmations ready

Perfectly fine, budget hotel and only a short walk away from Cardiff city centre. Rooms are very basic but the beds were still very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It is in an ugly area, a 20 minute walk to the centre. There is a lot of traffic in front of the house and it is not necessarily quiet in the house either. The bathroom is very small and everything smells strongly of chlorine. The receptionist spontaneously booked my room first on the wrong date. For this my stay was charged twice. Despite phone calls and emails, my money was not refunded. That was over a year ago. I don`t recommend anyone staying there !

Staff are very friendly and polite, breakfast is lovely there is quite a lot of options for a buffet. The rooms are basic but very clean, beds are comfy and price is very reasonable. Starting to look fresh with the decorating going on :)

Absolutely awful. This place is dirty and poorly managed. Also there is a night club below the hotel, that seems attract drunken degenerates who just go there to pick fights. There must have been about 5 fights break out the night I stayed there as well as people shouting and arguing outside my window until 5 in the morning. Didn't get any sleep that night. Paid Β£50 to stay in a dirty uncomfortable hotel and be kept awake all night. The location is awful too in a very rough area of Cardiff with litter all over the streets outside. Please don't waste your money here, the staff and club goers have no respect for the hotel guests or the people who live in the area.

Went there for a Stag Do, it was a great little hotel fairly close to Cardiff Town Centre. The staff were great, really friendly and VERY helpful. In house bar is open until around 5am if I remember rightly, also has a nightclub in the hotel, unfortunately that would be my only downfall for here, purely because our rooms were directly above the nightclub. All in all, great experience!

We went on a stag weekend. Expensive rooms for what you got. Brown walls, surprisingly the carpets were clean. Beds with springs in your back. You got an old iron and a mix of TVS but no hairdryer unless you paid a deposit to get one. On top of your room costs you have a Β£20 room deposit in case of damages which you get back. Showers worked but weren't very high if you are tall and didn't drain very well. Overpriced, but ideal for what we needed it for so can't complain. They had a decent bar area with a pool table and TV for sport. Breakfast was reasonably priced for Β£7 with all you could eat buffet. Not much choice but did the trick for a hangover. Ideal for a stag party.
