The store is about to undergo rebranding and so there are some great bargains to be had. Very friendly and helpful staff. Worth a visit.
Closing down sale, grabbed some bargains, however only 4 stars due to limited stock. Staff very helpful about garments and sizes between manufacturers.
Very well run shop with excellent staff. My 2 year old is potty training and had an accident. Alex who was working let us use the staff toilet to get her changed. I wanted to buy a coat and there was a discount online, the staff applied the same discount in store. Absolutely excellent service!
Great deals on all outdoor and camping stuff, ask shop staff about deals before turning and going out due to initial price on ticket, lots of buy 1 get 1 half price, half price when you buy something else for a pound and other sales, good selection of bargain range and top qiality ranges, staff are knowledgeable on all outdoor needs, really do ask for deals
Fabulous staff when we visited - patient and helpful. Great guidance and recommendations. Store was pretty well-stocked so we got everything we were after in one hit. A handful of good deals available too.
I have been buying outdoor equipment for many years from Millets and have always received excellent customer service. I visited today as I had found a fault with a new pair of walking boots that had leaked. Stuart and Alex replaced my boots without hesitation as they have done in the past. Very pleased with new boots thanks again guys for the quick resolution a very satisfied loyal customer
I have just left the shop in Halifax after an appalling visit. I will never set foot in a Millets again. The 2 male staff, especially the taller one with a beard were incredibly rude and aggressive. I wanted to try on a fleece and a couple of jackets in the changing room. The shorter dark haired member of staff mumbled that I wasn't allowed to try on coats in the changing room. He did not offer to look after them and there was nowhere to put them, so I took them into the changing room. The other taller member of staff then started banging on the door until I opened it and shouted that it was company policy that coats were not allowed in the changing room. I said I was going to leave, and that they had lost around £100 in sales. He said "so what'. Appalling behaviour with rude and aggressive staff. Do not shop there.
