Always enjoy staying at Moxy hotels, this one is very convenient for the airport/NEC. Rooms are small, but are very well laid out, really comfy beds and good showers also. Always love that can get fresh air from windows that open. Staff v.informative & welcoming. Had a nice night's stay, after a flight.

Another great stay at the moxie whilst I was visiting the NEC. As usual. Warm and welcoming staff, clean rooms, which although modestly sized of everything that you need for a comfortable, short, stay. Shower is hot and strong with fairly decent toiletries provided. Breakfast is great. Lots of choice of both hot and cold food. Served buffet style so you can pretty much help yourself to what and how much you want. It is and remains my hotel of choice at the NEC

Had a fantastic stay at Moxy Birmingham! We were welcomed with a complimentary cocktail on check-in a very funky touch :) The room was spotless, quiet, and very spacious, with an incredibly comfortable bed. I also loved that I could connect my phone to the TV and stream my own shows the first hotel Iβve stayed in that made this so easy! Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of options, including fresh, warm pastries. The location is perfect for the NEC, so weβll definitely be booking again next year. My only small critique would be the lack of an iron and ironing board in the room. There is a dedicated ironing room available, but I found myself ironing shirts at midnight just to make sure it was free having one in-room would make things even better.

A bit finiky getting in cuz of the venue access so security is need getting in. The staff however was amazing. I went with a disabled friend, and they accommodated very well in the room that we had. We had to get it confirmed though as, when we booked it wasn't clear if they did have wheelchair friend rooms or not. But the size was great and comfortable for us and our stay. We paid Β£12 additional for the disabled parking spot but that lasted us for our stay of late Thursday afternoon and a very late Friday leave. Was a bit back and worth sorted that out but it went smoothly and the place was comfortable and clean to stay at.

Excellent location for the NEC. Car park is a 10 min stroll away round the lake. Room was fine with good shower but only downside was we could hear people walking around in the room above us. We had a free gin welcome cocktail which was sickly sweet and no one could drink so - a g&t would be nicer

From check in to check out a wonderful experience. Great, engaging and friendly staff who do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. Cool vibe throughout the hotel. Room incredibly well laid out and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Was in an odd numbered room which has a view of the lake which I figure is better than being on the NEC side. Highly recommend this hotel.

Staff were great. Super helpful, really approachable. Checked in around 8:00pm. Having not eaten we went over to Resorts World to get some food. When we returned it was about 9:30pm and the doors were already locked. Which was confusing, no one had mentioned that the doors would be locked quite so early (given the bar is open until 2am). However because of the placement of the lifts being so far from the reception I'm not surprised that no one let us know when we head out. The issue being there should be a sign to tell customers that the door is locked and to use the intercom. Also there is no point having door keys that can open the main doors if the main doors are then locked from the inside. The biggest issue I had however was with the bed. The mattress was far too soft and completely collapsed beneath you. If you sat on the edge of the bed, the mattress would be higher than your legs, that's how soft it was. The mattress and duvet sounded like they were made from plastic bags. They were very loud for something that should be fabric. Because of these I didn't sleep all night. I know this is situational and doesn't apply to everyone but I do believe people should know what the bedding is like when they book, which is why I have left a review. I do not want any of this to reflect on the staff because as I said they were great

Cannot fault. Staff are really friendly, check out is 12!!! The rooms are very stylish, the beds AND the pillows are super comfy. Loads of breakfast choices. I am definitely going to book here again. They have approached sustainability really well and have recycling in the bedroom.

First off, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. This hotel is well overpriced and has a lack of basic facilities within the rooms. There was no fridge, which is something you would expect to be in a hotel room. There was only paper cups, I mean for the price I would of at least expected a proper mug to be in my room. The breakfast most definitely isnβt worth the price as there was very little to choose from. The rooms are extremely basic, a kettle, bathroom and bed, that is all youβre paying that ridiculous amount of money for. I really donβt recommend this hotel in any way. Biggest waste of money ever!

Location is great for both the NEC and the Resort world, the only down side is the parking, 1- it expensive even once it is validated, and 2- it is miles away at East 5 really inconvenient. The rooms are neat modern and well kept. The Bar is great, and the staff are efficient and friendly. The gym is small but usable. Breakfast was okay, continental buffet style, I only had the fruit and pastries so cannot comment on the rest. Generally I would recommend it.
