   Cinema is dead. Last three times I’ve been I’ve had to ask people to stop talking over the film. For £13 a ticket you’d expect people to watch the film. Chairs are all degraded. Combined with the phone screens, rustling, munching popcorn, and slurping, I’m not setting foot in a cinema again. Cheaper and better to watch it at home when it comes out in digital.

   Awful. Freezing cold in the cinema every time we go. Salted popcorn was actually mixed with sweet. And had to put up with someone using their phone throughout the film, with no staff checks. They can’t be bothered. Had to wait to show the ticket despite staff hanging around chatting. Will go elsewhere, happy to pay more for a warm and decent cinema!

   Nice soft play area a child did come out of there looking for his parents as the seating is on the side not the entrance/exit. So think they shouldn't let little ones out with a parent id. Lots to do nice food good parking.

   Been here countless times. Positives about this cinema include the large free car park, the Costa coffee shop inside the cinema, the six hour free WiFi connection provided by Showcase, the number of toilets on site (both in each of the screen corridors and in the foyer), and the sheer size of the place. All of the furnishings within are pretty much unchanged from when this cinema first opened back in the late 90s, and all of them are very well preserved and need no 'updating' whatsoever. The screens are laid out in such a way that handrails are available on both sides of the auditoriums, for those with mobility problems. The seats, which are around 25 years old and still perfectly fine, have a feature where the backrest reclines slightly. There's even a party room on site (located on the left of the building, by Screens 1-5) for your little one's birthday - all Showcase venues have these and NO other cinema chain has anything like it. EDIT: Someone has recently written a review saying about the side kiosks no longer being open. If you "want a drink during a movie" that badly, then use your legs and toddle off to the main foyer. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with the seats either, too many cinemas are now being torn apart for so-called 'refurbishments', losing much of their character and history in the process. This one has been perfectly preserved since the day it opened, and should remain so. If you truly loved cinema, you'd understand. Amazing building.

   Nice cinema, pricer than the rest however usually the quieter than the other cinemas around. We ordered online for a discount. Cinema was nice and warm, comfy seats and friendly staff. Over half an hour of adverts so don't rush to be there when the movie.

   Although a little dated now. This cinema does what I haven't seen others do. Whatever drink you buy (cup) has free refills. The popcorn tastes decent and the nachos are nice. The seating gives you a slight recline if you want it and when I visited recently they had the heating on. I'd go again

   This is an awesome cinema, away from the manic traffic of Cardiff town centre only 15 minutes away by car. Very reasonably priced drinks and popcorn. There's a nice seating area in the foyer as well if you want to sit and chat. There's also a Costa coffee on premises which is open. Reasonably late. Definitely a good location for a date night near Cardiff

   Visited to see an advanced screening of the move Till. Great cinema! Lots of products available such as ice cream, fresh popcorn, drinks machines with lots of options. There was also a Costa inside for anyone needing a caffeine boost! There's probably a few things I've missed too. The lobby and screen we were in was very clean and tidy. Toilets were also well maintained and clean.
