We had a brilliant day. My 6 year old loved it - so much to do and see. There were loads of activities for the special Halloween event but the park didnt feel overcrowded. Lovely staff too. I thought it was good value for money and we came away with a witches hat and a spider on a web decoration.

Lovely day out, loads to do and my girls had the best time. All staff are helpful and so friendly. Animals are well looked after and lovely variety of pumpkins.

Wonderful farm overall. We (2 adults) were a bit worried that we wouldn't find many things to do as the farm is advertised more towards children and family, but we ended up spending 6 hrs there! Good selections of farm animals and they are well looked after. We fed the guinea pigs, goats, sheep, and the pigs. They have alpacas, llama, ponies, and a highland cow too. Since it's Halloween season, we picked our own pumpkins to take home for a reasonable price. The farm has easy access to the car park and the restaurant/cafe provides good food and drinks. Great and friendly staff. One suggestion that I could give is maybe for the cuddle corner there should be 2 staff, just to make sure the kids are not stroking the little animals too roughly. Overall I would definitely come back!

This is a lovely farm experience for young children. I took my 3 year old and he loved it. We had great fun feeding them animals and he particularly enjoyed the pigs and the peacock as you come out of Brian’s wood. My son also enjoyed the tractor ride around the farm. I love that this is all part of the experience and you don’t have to pay extra for this. We also enjoyed the new addition to the outdoor play area (the water play).

Visited the farm on Saturday afternoon, we took my toddler and had a fabulous time. Out of the farms we've visited in Leicestershire this one I would pin as one of the better ones, animals seem happy and well cared for. Staff are super friendly and very helpful / accommodating to guests. We booked for 2pm but we arrived early, as it wasn't busy we were allowed in which was nice of the staff and allowed us time to explore before the rain came. Great indoor play area and outdoor play zones which are great for all ages. Coffee was great! Unfortunately we visited on a day it rained (luckily only in spells) and its safe to say outdoor animals don't like the rain and may hide away to escape it.

A great little days outing! Arrived dead on 10am when the park opens. It's great that it wasn't super busy, I'd recommend buying 4 bags of food (at £1 each) as the goats are particularly greedy! Plenty of animals that are ready to greet you eagerly providing you've got a bag of food. The small activities they have around the park are a bonus! Plenty of fresh air and a great walk around, can't wait to come back again!!

I would definitely recommend Windmill Farm Park for a day trip out. The online booking system was easy to access and use. Staff were very pleasant upon our arrival and made sure we had all the information we needed to make the most of our trip. The Farm Park was well organised with lots of picnic areas under cover. Food and drinks available in the indoor cafe area looked good. All the animals looked healthy and well cared for, there were plenty different types to watch and talk about. The tractor ride was great fun and informative with regards to the crops, animals and windmill restoration. The animal based activities were good, engaged children well and gave them a better understanding of the care of animals and what animals provide for people. Windmill Farm Park is on the must revisit list, many thanks to all the staff involved in making our day out a pleasurable and memorable one.
