Our experience with Michael has been by far the best we've had in many years and several veterinary practices. He's not only kind and caring with our dog, which makes us feel like he really cares about him, but he is very fair and conscious of the costs associated with that care. Whereas previous vets were relentless with the upselling, recommending additional tests and costly treatments, Michael discusses all options with us, really trying to help us find the most cost effective way to care for our pet.

Iβm so grateful for the wonderful care my dog Lucky received at Vets on the Common. Everyone there is not only professional but also incredibly kind and human. Lucky had an ear infection that her old vet couldnβt fix for over a year, but Dr. Ellie got it healed in just a week with the right tests and treatment. She also had dental surgery and a cyst removed, and the team kept us updated during the procedure and even checked in the next day to see how she was doing. We felt truly cared for every step of the way.

Always receive excellent service at this practice. Last week was exceptional. Weβre going to France with our two dogs on Thursday afternoon. Late on Wednesday night realised we had lost our pet passports. Called Liam at 09.00 on Thursday morning. Had the travel certificates by 10.00. Calm, friendly, professional, reassuring and no fuss. Outstanding service.

A Lifesaving Clinic and an Exceptional Vet β Thank You, Dr. Ellie We are endlessly grateful to Vets on the Common, and especially to Dr. Ellie, for saving the life of our beloved cat, Tigger. From the very beginning, the care we received was not only extremely knowledgeable and professional, but also deeply compassionate and human. Tigger needed a complex surgery known as a perineal urethrostomy (PU), along with the removal of bladder stones. Dr. Ellie guided us through it with such empathy and clarity. She explained every step and all possible options, never pushing us, always being honest and kind. The surgery was performed with great skill, and at a significantly better cost than other practices would have charged. They were transparent about pricing, offered to stage the payment until our next salary day, and genuinely seemed focused on charging only what was absolutely necessary. That kind of generosity and understanding is incredibly rare. The continuity of care was another extraordinary aspect. Tigger was looked after throughout by Dr. Ellie herself, with the support of a team of wonderful, kind, and skilled nurses. He spent several nights at the clinic, and we were always welcomed warmly when we wanted to visit. Post-operative care has also been fantastic β they never rushed us and always made time to see him when we had concerns. Considering the complexity and length of treatment, it was truly outstanding value β and honestly, you canβt put a price on the life of a family member. Thanks to this clinic, Tigger is back home with us, recovering well, and hopefully has many more happy years ahead. Dr. Ellie is not only an excellent vet, but a truly compassionate human being. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and Vets on the Common. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Thanks Dr. Vici and the entire team! My guinea pig overate and had digestive issues. After the check-up and medication, Zhuzhu recovered within a week. Thankfully he doesn't have bladder stones. As a first-time pet owner, I was extremely worried, but all the staff were incredibly friendly and reassured me during my anxiety. The pricing was reasonable, and Iβll definitely choose this vet again when I get a kitten!

Friendly, helpful, Great advice, not rushed and lovely looking practice also. Receptionist and vets all very personable and good knowledge on helpful tips. Also called up after a phone call to vets to check up on how my puppy was doing after I called for advice on eating. It goes a long way knowing youβve chosen the right vets who care!!

The level of caring for your dog. We got soaked in the rain on our way to vet and the lovely receptionist got him a warm dry towel to wait for our visit. Vet was very professional. Price is fair.

Excellent and very knowledgable advise from Michael given re our tortoise who woke from his winter slumbers in a very lethargic state. First time in the 47 years that weβve had him heβs been to a vet and I would have no hesitation in returning if needs be. Delighted to say that after a lot of TLC he has made a full recovery.

I've been bringing my puppy to this vet since the day i picked her up, they've been amazing! Sydney loves going to the vet, they're so good with making her feel comfortable but also remain very professional. I feel that the prices are fair and reasonable, they're very helpful with insurance claims too. You can get an appointment fast, but also they're great with over the phone questions for little things. I would recommend to everyone to go here with their beloved little pets

Really lovely local and independent vet practice. Because itβs an independent it feels so much more personable than all the corporate vet practices. The vets were wonderful with my cats who werenβt initially pleased about me taking them! Small businesses like this are rare and I feel very lucky that itβs opened near us. Highly recommend !
