The 2 hides (one currently being rebuilt) are just a 2 minute walk from the old Glamorganshire Canal, making for a great walk for all the family with plenty of diverse wildlife to see. The hides offer great views of different ponds, where you can often see kingfishers, herons, rabbits, and various other wildlife. Makes for a great location for anyone who's keen on birdwatching or photographing birds!

I visited Forest Farm for the first time in years. Unfortunately, one of the birding hides had been destroyed in an arson attack. Fortunately, there remains another hide from which I saw lots of wildlife in the reed beds.
