My cat was neutered here and it went smoothly. My cat was also vaccinated as a kitten and we come yearly to do his annual vaccination. I was able to get an appointment for my cat very quickly.

I wasnβt sure at first as Iβve had bad experiences at past vets and my last vet before a house move set the bar very high, but now can confirm this is a very good vet for cats! The staff here are very helpful via WhatsApp, the cat calming blankets are good (sprayed with Feliway? I always spray my carrier with it anyway), the vet is friendly and the nurse is simply fantastic β she is the primary reason for this review! So caring and helpful, didnβt judge my boy and scold me for him being fat, and I am confident we will get him to a healthy weight with their help. The monthly pet plan is worth it β you are fully covered for flea and worm meds and a few check ups a year included. I also have FirstVet included with my insurance so all in all my cat has everything he needs. Another great thing is they actually see your pet on time; none of this 20 minute backlog nonsense. My cat is already traumatised by having to be there, keeping it short and sweet is appreciated! Parking is fine on adjacent roads with permit.

Fast appointment availability. The female vet was very friendly and answered all of my questions whilst smiling the whole time. She took her time explaining everything and attended to all my queries. The vet nurse was amazing too with helping the vet.

My cat (Sphinx) needed extensive dental work he was stressed and difficult to handle but they made sure he was relaxed and was extremely well looked after, he had two check ups after the work was done to be sure he healed well. Unfortunately 2 weeks later he got out and was attacked by a stray cat and they managed to fit him in for an emergency appointment this time although he was in pain he hissed but was much easier to handle and i feel they had earned his trust through their kind and caring attitude. Summing up this practice has friendly, professional and caring staff from the receptionists nurses and vets i found they all try and go the extra mile to make it the best experience for all and would not hesitate to recommend for a 5 star service

My cat is registered at GVG Hackney, but I booked her into the Plaistow branch for spaying because they had better availability. I wouldn't usually leave a review but Kim the nurse is fantastic - honestly the best service I've ever received at a vet - she was so friendly and really took the time to talk me through everything and discuss any questions. Highly recommend.

Absolutely appalling. I could never get through to this practice over the phone so I attempted to make my first booking online. I made a booking on the 24th of September for the 16th of October, after missing a call on the morning of my appointment from the vets, I tried to call back with no answer again. On arrival, I was greeted by a very dismissive nurse, who time after time told me that I didnβt pick up the phone (they called me an hour before my appointment), they left me a voicemail that I didnβt listen to and I booked the wrong appointment. Even though on their screen my appointment said Nurse & vaccination. I was offered to book another appointment, I had to already wait 3 weeks for this one. After challenging this, I was told that I was no longer a customer of Goddard, after years of Alex using Goddard, the nurse made a very serious allegation against me, claiming that I was being rude and this results in me being struck of Goddards books, she then asked me to leave the practice.I was then seen by the vet for 5 mins to again tell me that their next available appointment was at the end of November. I booked Alex in for a nurse appointment and a vaccination. The nurse appointment was to see and check him up for his on going skin condition that the practice is aware of. Unfortunately, we were sent home without either! My cat has been neglected by this practice not for the first time but this time they really did not try rectify the problem but instead, blamed me! Alex has used this service over a number of years, he has used the emergency service on a number of occasions too. We have spent a lot of money with Goddard, with our emergency bills coming up to a minimum of Β£900 each! We are now afraid that due to these allegations made against me that I was rude to this particular member of staff after being very upset by their treatment of me and Alex, Alex will no longer be able to use Goddards services. Itβs extremely disappointing, being a customer of Goddard for so many years and to be brushed off because of a simple mistake I made whilst making a booking online. We are now worried that Alex wouldnβt get the treatment he needs, his well-being is not being cared for by the practice. I am very concerned that Alex has been neglected and let down by the staff operating at Goddards. He is a 9 year cat that has continuously used this service over the past 6 years. Angel is a great vet and Alex is very comfortable with him, we have never had issues, but his colleagues actions have been appalling time after time. They are taking advantage of the fact that there are not enough vets in this local area and no private vets. They know their customers will use them due to the good name that Goddard has but it is not fair on our pets nor on us to be treated this way because of a malfunction. After everything, Alex was not seen and was told to come back in 42 days.

These folks are legitimately the most wonderful people, and truly care. We found a lost dog and brought her in to check the chip, they were so friendly and accommodating while the owner was on their way. Top notch service, and an especially huge thank you to the lady on the front desk!

I would like to thank all the staff here for always taking extra special care for our dog and always being helpful and with a smile on their face. Our dog, Ivy, is the happiest puppy and she has been always treated like royalty when visiting the veterinary clinic. We highly recommend this place, very professional and friendly staff, the doctor is amazing and you can see his love and devotion towards animals.
