A fantastic vet surgery, staffed with kind and helpful professionals who are all about caring for your pets, not about finding ways to charge extortionate fees. Compassionate and caring.

My dog means everything to me, so when she suddenly became sick and started shivering, I was terrified. I rushed to the clinic without an appointment and they took care of us right away. Their kindness and understanding meant the world. Thanks to them, my dog is now recovering. I’m so grateful and I highly recommend this vet clinic! Thank you again!

I have only praise for this amazing veterinary practice; and am so relieved as, like many people, my animals are everything to me. I have had smallish things related to our cat and dog and recently something serious: our dog had to have an eyelid mass removed and it had grown big. Emma Whitaker (the lead vet on this) was truly outstanding from small detail to major advice. The lead receptionist, Helen, was superbly efficient when dealing with our claim and we received a payment from Pet Plan quickly. All the reception staff were lovely and professional. Of course vet fees are difficult to manage but in our experience Midlands provide services at highly competitive rates and they do try to reduce fees where they can. (There are particular pressures on vets at the moment.) I don't mind if I have to wait a bit (although I haven't personally experienced much delay) because I would rather know that an animal is given the time they need, so I try to book on days/times when a delay is not going to impact on my work, in the event that I do have to wait. (I have always managed to park in a small PayByPhone area in a street on the left just passed the surgery if you are heading in the direction of Stratford - FLETCHER LANES.)

This vet is ripping people off of their money and time. We had appointment at 9:45, but we were ignored until 10:10, I have to shout at receptionist to get their attention, a creepy looking manager creeped out of some rabbit hole and started to justify delay. Then she checked my dog in 10 minutes, consultation and 3 tablets, charging us Β£121. 30 minutes late, 10 minutes consultation. Proper rip off. I'll rather never take my pet to vet anymore. This surgery has put me right off of vets. Similar medication is available online for under Β£20. I wasn't keen on going to vet anyway but my mrs insisted to at least get the dog checked once. But got proper disrespected, ignored, and over charged us. Like daylight robbery.

Cerdic Grimbly is the best Veterinary Surgeon along with Holly Swaby and Emma Whitaker. All the Veterinary Nurses, Support Staff and the Practice Manager have always been absolutely fantastic with me and both of my Cats over the past few years. Even when I had to put one of my Cats to sleep they were very professional, understanding and compassionate. They also sent a lovely condolence card. I went to Midland Veterinary Surgery again today with my newest Cat for his 6 month health check, yearly vaccination, nail clipping, de-worming, flea treatment and he is doing really well and is very healthy. I will definitely keep on coming here for many more years to come. I really reccomend this Surgery for your pets. Thank you for a 5 star service!

Our vet, Lauren, was friendly and kind and answered all of our questions. Our cats can be very timid and skittish and they weren't afraid of her at all, which was a very pleasant surprise! She also had great advice about maintaining their health, and insurance. I've never seen anyone give a pet a tablet so quickly and efficiently! The reception staff were polite and helpful and super friendly - we felt very welcome. It took all of the stress out of the situation and - dare I say it - I'm actually looking forward to our next visit!

Great service. On this occasion of visiting the vet, my usually very active (read crazy) cat, on meeting the vet, was docile with her straight away! I was shocked! Never seen her behave like such a good girl with anyone! For that, the vet gets 5*!

Very grateful to the nurse who was driving to work and witnessed my cat had been hit by a car. She turned around and took the cat with her to work. She also managed to leave her work address, which made it easy for me to locate my cat. Thank you for showing compassion.

Our cat is always treated like royalty which is very sweet to see. Vets are excellent at putting us, as much as our cat, at ease and all very knowledgeable staff. Great experience with receptionists tooβ€” always willing to take time to listen even when often very busy. Also had a great experience pre owning my own cat when I took a lost cat in. They went above and beyond to locate the owner. Can’t recommend the practice enough.

Wouldn't accept a stray cat that we found, even though we had an RSPCA code to cover the costs they wanted us to pay extra. We don't have pet insurance so no idea how much it would have cost us. We decide to reach out on Facebook and so many people from the public were willing to help and advise. Unfortunately, it's all about the money at this place.
