Poor service and unacceptable queue management for essential services. (1/5 Stars) "I visited the Boots Leytonstone store today (Wednesday, 26th November) at approximately 10.55am to process a package return/drop-off and buy a few items. I waited patiently and was told I had to wait for a specific staff member/till to handle the package, even though I was first in line. The staff then proceeded to serve multiple subsequent customers who were only making purchases, leaving me waiting for over ten minutes. The cashier who served me also had an attitude when all I was asking for was clarification on the student discount. When I questioned the delay, I was told I 'had to wait' despite the store being quiet and other tills being free. This prioritization of new sales over timely service for customers already waiting is extremely poor queue management. I was ultimately forced to leave without completing my transaction due to the excessive and disrespectful wait time. Management needs to review their process for handling package services and ensure that all staff members are equipped to handle basic transactions like returns/drop-offs efficiently at any available till, or at least respect the order of the queue."

I have never felt more disrespected or humiliated in a store. The staff at Boots Leytonstone are shockingly rude, arrogant, and utterly incompetent. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that customer service is not even a concept they understand. During my visit, I was falsely accused of stealing by two staff members—a South Asian woman and a South Asian man—despite having done absolutely nothing wrong. Their behavior was aggressive, accusatory, and deeply humiliating. They treated me like a criminal, showing no concern for how distressing this experience was. Instead of handling the situation professionally or even politely, they acted as if I was guilty until proven innocent. The attitude of the staff throughout my visit was appallingly insolent. They were dismissive, condescending, and clearly untrained in basic customer interaction. It was not just unpleasant—it was hostile. Being treated this way by people who are supposed to help and serve customers is unacceptable. In short, going to this store is a nightmare. If you value being treated with any respect or dignity, avoid Boots Leytonstone entirely. The staff clearly have no sense of professionalism, judgment, or common courtesy, and their behavior can be downright humiliating and traumatizing.

Disgraceful During checkout the white shirt guy on the till didn’t asked do I need a bag or not he took my payment when he can see I have a lot of stuffs to take and it’s a common civic sense of course I will need a bag, I don’t mind to pay 20p it’s ok. Later on when I asked can I have a bag you can charge me, he simply ignored and start taking the next customers checkout. I was furious on anger and put my stuffs on my hoodie pocket and left. I also work in hospitality, I wouldn’t say it’s a training issue but it’s more common sense of an individual.

They can’t even pick up the phone! Been trying now for half an hour and it just rings out. Now the phone is unavailable and just says busy. What’s the point of a phone number if no one answers?

Staff at the counter are so rude and judgemental. Especially the hijab wearing lady and the tall Pakistani/Asian guy. They judge you by your looks and won’t believe you’re there for a parcel if you’re a certain race and get you to confirm a gazillion times before handing it over. Guy also dropped my parcel on the floor and didn’t even apologise. Like I’ve told you my collection number and my full name, what else do you want me to do? They really think they own the place and act like they’re giving you stuff for free when you’re a paying customer. It’s ridiculous. That’s not the attitude to have when you’re serving customers. The others are generally nice including one of the security guards and the brown haired lady.
