Every time you visit this store there is a possibility you get frustrated with either unhelpful staff, lack of knowledge of their own system or something other. If they don't know something they will ask you to come tomorrow instead of checking with a colleague. Most of the time they will say that prescription is not arrived, if you persist and magically they will find it. I asked a price for a private prescription and they said they can't check it. The very next day if you check with other colleague, you will be able to find it. Totally pathetic store, should sell only cosmetics and not be a healthcare store

What is happening at Ilford Boots. Why are there no staff? Never any staff at Medicines Counter, have to queue for Pharmacy to buy non prescription items behind counter. Pharmacy queue is generally long and irritable. Gave up on quest to buy Allieva and took basket of other stuff to self check out. Included in my basket was razor blades, authority needed, but there was no one around to give it. Abandoned basket of goods and left. Went to Superdrug, no problems there.

Extremely slow service. To collect any prescription it literally takes ages. The ladies behind the counter do their jobs as slowly as it is only possible. Also last time when I came for the vaccination, I was told they cannot do it this day without any further explenation. Here, in Boots in Ilford nothing goes smoothly. Who is in charge of this shop.

I visited during the lunch break, which I understand is a busy time, but the place was clearly understaffed. The girl handling the click and collect service was visibly struggling, and unsurprisingly, came off as quite rude. What’s even more frustrating is that the click and collect till doesn’t accept any items bought in-store — which makes absolutely no sense. If a customer wants to pay for items, they should be allowed to do so without being turned away. The pharmacy staff were even worse — unhelpful and uninterested. It’s honestly disappointing. The only positive from my visit was Karen, who was the only staff member that actually seemed to care. She went out of her way to assist me, and I really appreciated that. Unfortunately, the rest of the team could definitely use some training or motivation, because the overall service was poor.. The self service area was very untidy and receipts were lying around the floors.. Please see attached.

Slowest pharmacy I’ve ever been to. 3 people at the counter. Probably about 5 people people queuing up including myself. I was second on the queue. Took them 20 minutes for them to see me. In the meantime other patient, just came in front of me (people who have been waiting) to pay for their prescriptions. After I’ve been seen, the lady had my medicine, all she had to do was charging me. Told me to take a sit and I would have been called within 15 minutes. After 30 minutes is not ready yet. Waited a little more and and I paid for one med. Very bad organisation. Definitely needs new management.

Very poor service. I had to wait 2 days to get my son's prescribed antibiotics sent by out of hours doctor. 1st day, they didn't serve me as I didn't have his NHS number in hand. 2nd day, their computer wasn't working. This is so ridiculous that they gave me the prescribed antibiotics on 3rd day.

I wish I can give them zero stars as most employees there seems as are not happy to serve customers. And one young lady at prescription should find herself a different job cuz she did not even know where or how to find my medicines after making me wait for 30 min.

I like boots its clean and tidy most of the time they are helpful yes they can be slow but some of them are very busy with other customers as I pick my family tablets. When I buy things they are good some of the staff are helpful. It's depends on who there. I been to boots for years when the other boots was open a few doors from Argos.

Beautiful Store, clean and tidy but very bad service. Staff take ages to respond or dealing with customers. They all running around behind the tills like they are very busy. Customer stay in the queue too long. To wait their turn.
