Very incompetent and unhelpful lady at the Boots pharmacy Coventry city center. I have cold, fever, cough, headache.I want to buy Night Nurse medicine.I have been using it before and i believe it is one of the best that helps against flu and colds. After a series of questions about my symptoms and what medications i was taking,i said nothing, not even paracetamol. Then she was asked if i was sleeping well?I didnt really understand the question and said yes.Is it a symptom of a cold, sleeping well or poorly? Then she said she wouldnt sell me Night Nurse! Why??Is she a doctor? I understand that this medicine has a sleeping effect and thats why i would only take it at night. This medication is without prescription, than why i cant buy it? So i had to go with a fever and a headache to another Boots pharmacy and buy medicine there. Thanks.

Always is a pleasure to shop here for both me and my parents! The bad reviews are not true and probably biased. They treat customers with such great care! A few employees are amazing and go the extra mile, especially the young lady with glasses and orangey red hair, a blonde/brunette woman with her makeup bag in the No7 area who knows what sheβs talking about when it comes to makeup and a young man who I havenβt seen in a while who wears a blue/black hat and has a beard One of the best department stores in the City Centre!

I asked a store assistant to confirm the price of a product, but they simply said βI donβt knowβ and walked away - ask at till. The Member staff just seemed rude and not really doing their job. Thatβs not the level of service I expect as a paying customer at Boots.

Have witnessed on multiple occasions a male security guard speak very rudely to customers. He forced a young girl to buy a product just because she smelt the fragrance, accusing her of opening a seal which had already been opened. He forced another girl to use a basket for two products as he said she was going to steal it, with no real reasoning. Today I witnessed a similar situation where he again tried to force a customer to purchase a product for something without a seal which hadnβt been opened by her. Awful customer service and clearly trying to intimidate these women.

I had a disappointing experience at the No7 counter in this Boots store. The lady working there (around 50, wearing glasses with brown hair tied back) was quite rude and seemed to treat foreign customers differently. She stopped helping me halfway and told me to find the item myself, even though the drawer was locked and only staff could open it. When I politely asked for a new product instead of the tester, she ignored me and served a local customer, leaving me waiting for about ten minutes. She later claimed the item was out of stock, but the Boots app showed it was available. When I tried to check, she spoke to me rudely and said I wasnβt allowed to touch the drawer, adding that βmaybe someone stole it.β Her attitude was unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable.

***UPDATE 1-3-23*** Been contacting the pharmacy team all day, can never get through, they that busy they cannot answer my calls? It's regarding my medication. Disgusting Even tried pressing option 4 for general enquiries Still nothing --------------------------------------------------------- Always have what I look for. Clean store. Last time I went in was Xmas Eve, great offers

Great store, always busy. Staff do very well considering there seems to be less of them on the shop floor than before. The click and collect process needs addressing though, you still have to join the rather long queue to then get asked to wait to the side, then to join another queue over the opposite side. Defo needs improving.

There was but one lonesome soul manning the till whilst a long swirling que of sweaty shoppers slowly lost the will to live. To have added just an extra staff member would have been a true Christmas gift

Boots is quite decent for perfumes and cosmetics. Good membership card perks to go with that. On the pharmacy front some of the medication is a bit expensive compared to Tesco pharmacy. But they do have some generic medication which is about half the price compared to the branded ones.
