Stand at the desk for 10 mins as each member of staff looks at you but doesn’t acknowledge you or say they’ll be with you. I’ve worked in customer service all my life and I don’t understand how somewhere can be so rude and awful. Clearly zero training has ever taken place here
Used to be good and now massively understaffed. Between the pharmacy and GP, prescriptions go missing with amazing regularity. I now collect them all from GP desk so at least I have control. Pharmacy often can't fulfill prescription due to understaffing. Feel bad for staff left.
I have stopped my prescriptions automatically being handed down to them from the GP surgery above; supposedly faster and more convenient, but they had no record of the prescription they were given on day 1, meaning I went to the surgery who told me they have given it to them, try again tomorrow. A total of 3 visits over a 7 day period to collect my prescription of 3 items because they are so poorly stocked and staffed. They also caused me panic when they only issued 1 item and told me there was only 1 item outstanding when there were actually two and couldn’t confirm when I queried this with them. Each and every time has been a painstaking and slow task to collect any prescription from them. I now collect my prescription from the surgery and get it filled the same day at any other pharmacy in the area. Amazing how this pharmacy is still open and allowed to operate this way.
I have no idea how this pharmacy is still in business. I have never just ‘popped in’ here as everything takes eternity, no matter what your request. Each interaction is painstakingly slow, making customers wait up to 30 minutes just to drop off/pick up a repeat prescription. I have never witnessed such an essential business function so poorly.
I have not been able to get through to this pharmacy by phone to check if a prescription is ready, in... wait for it, 8 months. The wait time is usually so incredibly long ( average time 1 hr), sometimes I want to check.if the medication is ready. Not once in 8mths has the phone been picked up when I call. Incredible really!
I always find the staff here to be extremely friendly and professional. Others pharmacies in the area are not comparable and not so efficient
Quite simply the worst dispensary experience I have ever encountered. My partner has a repeat prescription for medication, the staff at this pharmacy have sent her away without fulfilling her prescription 3 out of the past 4 times she has visited. Each time claiming to not have received her details from the surgery. Given the nature of her medication, even a small break in supply can have ramifications that can affect her for up to a week. I doubt the staff here care, hugely dismissive into the bargain as well as incompetent. Her meds are never ever available on the date they should be, she is sent away and asked to come back the next day. The most recent occasion they suggested she contact the surgery to confirm it had been sent over, which she promptly did (although feels like that should be their responsibility). It turns out details had been sent and received and were sat on the desk next to the pharmacist, they just hadn’t looked properly but were more than happy to send a sick person away without their medication to go and fix a problem the pharmacy caused. All in all an absolute shambles!
Very efficient, and the pharmacists are friendly and helpful. Always walk away impressed by the service I've received here.
The staff at this pharmacy are brilliant. The Pharmacists are great and answer all your queries about certain aspects of medication. They have a delivery service, which is a bonus for people (like myself) who aren't able to collect prescriptions themselves. They do repeat prescriptions and this is very helpful because if someone is unable to go and see the doctor, they will do it for you. All in all they definitely deserve 5 stars. Was ignored for a solid 10minutes even though employees could see I was waiting to be served. Would expect the basic levels of customer service at a pharmacy but instead I had to leave empty handed and time wasted.
