   Still in disbelief after last night. We bought tickets for their New Year’s Eve event, which was advertised to begin at 11PM. When we arrived, we were suddenly told entry wouldn’t be allowed until midnight. When we questioned this, a staff member blamed it on “last-minute changes.” He eventually said we could enter at 11, but only if we were happy knowing there would be no bar service until 12. For a NYE event, that’s absurd. We came back at midnight, got inside, and went straight to the bar. That’s where it completely went downhill. We asked for a couple of shots and were told tequila shots were £20 each. This is Coventry — not London — and even London bars don’t charge that. After refusing, we were shown a drinks menu where prices started at £200and went up to £500. To make it worse, the venue was practically empty, with fewer than 10 people inside. The whole experience felt misleading and poorly run. Between the ridiculous prices, empty venue, and the rude, unhelpful attitude of staff both at the entrance and behind the bar, this place comes across as either a total rip-off or run by people who don’t understand basic hospitality. Do yourself a favour and stay well away. You’ll get better service, better atmosphere, and far better value literally anywhere else — even a pub would be a massive improvement.

   Honestly I’m still shocked writing this the next day. We bought tickets to the NYE event for this ‘club’. It was advertised to start at 11PM. We turned up and were told that we weren’t allowed in until 12 (for a NYE event) when I confronted one of the staff about this he complained saying it was “last minute changes” - he agreed to let us in at 11 but said they didn’t have any bar staff so we wouldn’t be able to drink until midnight. We came back at 12 and got let in after our tickets were scanned. We get to the bar to order some shots and we’re then told that tequila shots are £20 each??? (We’re in Coventry not London and even then London is cheaper) after I said we weren’t going to pay £20 per shot I was given a drinks menu which showed different drink options (the cheapest thing being £170 and ranging up to £700) all the while there were maybe 8 people total in this venue. This place is either a literal scam / money laundering scheme or run by people who are completely incompetent and have no understanding of pricing and or etiquette (the staffs attitude at both the entrance and the bar were awful) I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend against going here. Literally go the Wetherspoons and you’ll have more fun and receive better service.

   I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLUB very expensive and poor quality all drink. The experience with the gentleman at the entrance was very arrogant and aggressive. We asked to comeback after we already pay and was there . The gardener asked again to pay an extra 10 pounds for half an hour until closing. In the same time the staff was soo aggressive , starting to push my friends.

   I held my sons 18th birthday party at catch 22 and I can’t recommend them enough they went above to make sure it went perfectly. It was brilliant the atmosphere was everything we wanted it to be. The room was set up exactly to my request. Every one had a brilliant time. I would highly recommend this venue and will 100% be using it again.

   One of the worst clubs in town. Pathetic service. They didnt allow me to wear my leather jacket inside the club and on top of that, I had to pay £2.5 to store my jacket in the cloakroom! Will not recommend to anyone!

   Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this place, unless your idea of fun is to be treated like rubbish in a verbally aggressive and threatening manner by their bouncers (apparently sourced by Spartan Security). Detailed review was shared with the management days before public post, who visualised the message but chose not to respond, emphasizing that this is a behaviour endorsed by the company. NOT A PLACE TO HAVE A GOOD TIME! Edit: The above was previously communicated with catch 22 and blatantly ignored. I now re-shared the communication in response to below. Update: the response was askjng me for recordings, as if I was ready to record when I got there... Nope, I was never treated like that in any commercial eatablishment, so was not ready to record. I do have a video of when the bouncer rudely failed to explain why he was being aggressive, shot for our protection in case he was going to be become violent. But I shouldn't have to provide video, as not everyone records abuse. My review stands and this is another proof that mamagement is behind the appalling behaviour of its staff.

   Great venue. Various themed music nights throughout the week so there is always something for everyone. The drinks are good value for money, with a wide selection on offer and keep an eye out for their promos too! Staff are all professional, efficient at making drinks and are very welcoming. Would recommend choosing Catch Twenty Two as your go-to for a night out!
