An hours wait on a weekday afternoon to get a prescription. An absolute joke. They refused to do it any faster even though I am on my way to the airport and this is the 6th pharmacy I’ve tried to get this prescription, I would miss my flight with an hour long wait. The other 5 pharmacies were either closed for lunch or didn’t have the item. I have to now go on holiday with only 2 days worth of my inhaler left.

Needed an emergency prescription found every body most helpful quickly and efficiently .had to wait a little time and witnessed much the same service to everyone who was served not sure where all the bad reviews come from

Very poor service generally. Have to wait days for prescriptions to be fulfilled if via Doctor, 45 mins on average if handing it over. Now 10 days since handwritten prescription given over - fingers crossed it’s finally ready !!!

Nothing unusual here by the looks of the reviews already. As the pharmacist advises to get advice from them in large letters behind the counter you'd think they'd be willing to have a 2 min chat if you've asked advice on something but instead you have the counter lady shouting back & forth & even though I'd gone there for an irritated eye I was offered solution for dry eyes even though they weren't dry but itchy and irritated. Told them I'd ask another pharmacist that's interested went straight to boots and pharmacist had a look and gave me drops for itchy irritated eyes. Thank U boots. Thanks for nothing Tesco pharmacy

My Doctor said that I can use Caneston cream for a facial skin condition and call to the pharmacy so I went to the pharmacy in Tesco culverhouse cross on 16/10/22 and when I mentioned this to the girl on the desk she said she couldn’t sell it to me as it’s not for the face ??? Who’s right doctor or shop assistant ? But she did embarrass me by saying that she wouldnt sell it to me quite loud in front of other customers !! I even asked my wife to buy it and the shop assistant said No ! I left quite upset

My doctors send up my prescription and for 4 months in a row they have not had it ready. And not by a few days either, usually a week late and when I explain I need it for my medical condition, they're not bothered. Therefore, changing pharmacy now.

Do NOT leave your prescription here, as the team WILL lose it and then deny all knowledge of taking it in. Only persistence in telling them they did have it eventually led to them finding it. Avoid.

Desperate to get a prescription for my son this morning, they told me half an hour wait, so I waited. Plenty of other customers handed in their prescriptions and collected while I was still waiting. Horrible women serving on the counter, I hope you never experience what it is like to look after a sick child on your own.

I would be embarrassed to be responsible for the mismanagement of this pharmacy. Whether it's due to lack of support from head office (according to the staff) or down to local incompetence, the service is abysmal. There doesn't seem to be anyone designated to deal with customers as the service counter is regularly left unattended for 5 minutes or more, staff attending to other work adjacent to the counter studiously ignore anyone waiting & prescriptions collected from surgeries are quite often not filled until the patient arrives to collect - usually a wait of at least 30 minutes. Today my wife & I wasted more than an hour here, firstly queuing for 15 minutes, then the staff being unable to find the prescription, then finding one which was forwarded dated by the surgery for Christmas eve & thus not due. A phone call to the surgery (wait for recorded 2 minute message, battle with call centre to get put through to the surgery) confirmed that the correct prescription had been collected by Tesco 3 days previously. They'd lost it. Could we come back said the pharmacy? Not in a million years we said, ring the surgery & get it sorted now. Another half hour & we got an emergency prescription. If you value your time I suggest you use another pharmacy, however looking at reviews of other local pharmacies it seems none of them are very good.
