Went there last night, horrendous bouncers. Told them a woman needed aid and was ignored after being told she needed the help. Handful of intoxicated people needing help and a blind eye was turned. Made bouncers aware of a man creeping on girls and how they felt threatened, women chucked out and not the man! Extremely rude bar tenders also. Not a safe place for women.

Waste of money. Blew about £50 and every beer was sour and vinegar. Leads me to believe barrels aren’t being stored at correct temps or puns are compromised. Beyond paying £20 for me and my partner to enter and Heineken and Peroni to be off at the same time isn’t good. 70 quid done the drain. On the other hand music was good and staff was polite.

Don’t even bother if you are neurodivergent. Bouncer will claim you are too drunk when you are more sober than anyone entering, while refusing to provide justification of why he thinks you are more drunk. College's stagered out half an hour later with the bouncer spending the whole time claiming I was too drunk . Clearly saw ND fraught and discriminated against them. Really frustrating.

I visited Retros recently with a friend, and the experience was nothing short of appalling. While queuing, the group in front of us were inexplicably refused entry by the angry woman behind the desk. The group were polite in questioning why, yet the staff member could not provide any reason. When one of them asked to speak to the manager, this same staff lady aggressively swung at him without provocation. The door staff had to pull her away and apologised profusely, even admitting “she is always like this – we are terribly sorry.” When my friend and I did eventually get inside, things didn’t improve. The floors were sticky, the music was dreadful, and the place had a faint smell of urine. We left immediately. Overall, this was a disgraceful experience. Aggressive staff, poor management, terrible environment – Avoid with a barge pole!

Thursday night karaoke is fun, but the toilets are discussing! Animals!

Staff great, music good unfortunately the clientele seem to be the bunch that don't get let in to other places. Quite a toxic atmosphere. May have been unlucky on the night but were let in in the first place.

Had a hen party here . Few things went wrong (accused of not paying and not getting everything in drinks package) Emailed about it but they’re ignoring my emails . No , no messages in junk folder . A friend emailed about something unrelated and got a response in hours which proves to me they’re not willing to acknowledge my emails. Such a shame because we overall had a good time .

Music has gone downhill. I'd start playing the 80's again so much better. The toilets need a good clean, sad to see it's lost its spark always ended up in retros years ago
