   My two cats Freddie and Arty are registered with Leyton midland vets and we have used this cattery twice which is located on the vets premises. They offer spacious cages which enable both cats to be together. I have also had both my cats under Holly Swaby who is the clinical director of both the vets and the cattery. The care they provide to both my cats is outstanding. I can fully rely and trust the staff at the cattery and vets. Arty in particular is an anxious cat and upon visiting the cattery, it is quiet, lit, clean and safe putting my concerns at ease. They also ensure that all cats are vaccinated, deflead, wormed prior to arrival which is very important.

   As we both travel regularly, we needed to find a reliable, professional, caring, compassionate, clean and affordable cattery for our two cats. We have been using Treetops regularly for the past 14 years (ever since our cats, now sadly only one, have been kittens) and have never had any cause for concern. We have nothing but praise for Helen and her team. On the rare occasions when the cattery has not been able to accommodate us, we have had no alternative but to use other catteries in the area and have sorely regretted doing so. Whilst we appreciate that everyone is entitled to an opinion, we cannot identify with any of the comments made by Daniel Warder.

   I am VERY sad to say that we will no longer be using this Cattery. It was the first and now the last time. As soon as you walk in you’re met with an awful smell of what I can only describe as dirty litter trays from other cats just being left. Showing poor ventilation and lack of attentiveness to resident cats. This put our cats on edge straight away. They started to display aggression and nervousness, which we were told not to worry about and confirmed to us in a call briefly after we left. We were taken to the bare cell which are cats would stay in which was very dimly lit. This started my concerns. My concerns were confirmed almost straight away when we picked the cats up. Our normally quiet cats were on edge and constantly meowing and wanting to leave. Behaviour that we haven’t seen with leaving previous Cattery's. Not only that but the bedding/bed we provided came back smelling to the high heavens of cat urine and had litter stains on them. We trusted this place because it is in partnership with the vets which are great. The lesson learnt is that we should have visited it first.

   Our two cats were very well cared for at Treetops. The staff are friendly and efficient, and seem to care about the cats they're looking after. On dropping ours off I saw where they were going to be for the week and I was impressed that it was spotlessly clean. A great local cattery.
