   Lovely staff always helpful. Nice big store. Small furries are well looked after. Always get what i need. Outside the store needs a sanitisation due to smelling of dog wee on the building pillas where many dogs have peed and there is a bad smell.

   All staff are caring and have given me a lot of support over the last 8 years of my dog tilly especially in this last week that she has been ill and sadly been put to sleep today just want to say a big thank you to the girls on reception nurses and vet you made the hardest choice we had to made easier

   Very disappointed with the Groom Room. Booked an appointment twice only to turn up and it’s closed! Frustrated customer and no record of my appointment. Go somewhere else for claws to be clipped as they don’t return calls and don’t turn up for appointments

   Went to the store on August 1st and found a beautiful rabbit up for adoption. A staff member along with the store managers approval reserved the bunny for me and helped me pick out everything I needed for her. I spent over £100 in the store and left with the agreement to collect the bunny at 5.15 on August 2nd. I arrived today to be told they had sold the rabbit to someone else and there was nothing the could do. Absolutely ridiculous! Useless young 'assistant' manager didn't care at all that we were genuinely very upset over this! Would recommend avoiding pets at home Huddersfield if your looking to adopt an animal. They will reserve it for you and then sell it before you come back at the prearranged time to pick it up!

   Went to the vets for flea treatment and some dog food. Nice big air con building, tropical fish, rabbits etc. Service was reasonably swift. However they do ask if u wanna donate to rescue shelters at the checkout.As if things are tight enough wi money for most. Fair enough, a good cause, but it seems every where u turn nowadays they slip it in and u can feel guilty and that's what is relied upon. Why do it at the check out guys eh...? Well I didn't feel guilty saying no, I got a cat sanctuary at home with enough rescued pets ta start me own rescue centre. Oh the parking is good at this retail park but the council are digging up the road all round this area which means lots of traffic, even when not in peak times. I parked on the road to the back of the retail park and walked round. Less hassle atm.

   Most staff are very friendly and helpful. Vast assortment of animals products and feeds.Also has a dog grooming and vets. We adopted 4 guinea pigs from here and they've flourished. Would recommend but can be expensive.So I tend to shop home bargains, Wilko for my animal products. If your wanting vet plan feeds then this is the place.
