   We have visited the Rothley branch many times now, this is our favourite of all the Miller and Carter Restaurants that we have been to. The atmosphere is great, the food has always been excellent and the service perfect. As was our latest visit at the weekend. Our waiter was Santino, he has served us on many of our visits and in my opinion he is without doubt the best waiter you could ever have anywhere! His attentiveness and profesionalisim is second to none. Thankyou Santino and to all the team for such a great all round experience time after time!

   We visited Miller & Carter and spent £88 for two meals, so definitely not a cheap evening out. The chef kindly agreed to swap my starter from the main menu to the festive menu, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the starter itself was disappointing — the sauce was far too runny and not how it’s meant to be served. The mains were fine, no complaints there. We do visit Miller & Carter in different locations and usually have a much better experience with the food, so this visit fell a bit short of expectations. Hoping this was just a one-off

   Absolutely beautiful setup this evening for my son’s birthday, the waitress could not do enough for us (Chenai) very friendly, and very polite. Food was fantastic and the cocktails were delicious. Will definitely be back

   We visited twice in the week, Sunday and Tuesday. Both times met with a warm welcome. Service is excellent. Really is. Cannot praise the staff enough. Kind, attentive, polite and friendly. Also the food was delicious. Only criticism was the prawns were a bit on the dry side as a starter. Everything else was delicious. On Sunday we had pork belly and the Yorkshire pudding to start then fillet steak for mains. Tuesday I had the lamb which was delicious. Then we had the banoffee pie which is delicious but might be worth sharing. So good we had it again Tuesday. Thank you for a lovely experience.

   We love Miller & Carter food. I do find it varies from one location to another however Rotheley always seems to be the best. Our only issue on this occasion was my steak was cold and returned to me (the same one) cold again. They cooked a fresh one which was nice and hot but more rare than the first and blood all over my plate which put me off. I wish I had kept the cold one. Disappointing on this occasion as normally spot on. We would return again to give another chance. Also to add Ruby was amazing and what a credit to the restaurant. A nice touch from management would have been for a little discount but this didn’t happen.

   Valentine's day dinner. Classic and neat environment. Perfectly matched medium-rare steak with precisely flavoured creamy diane. Surprisingly well, just-right-cooked scallop with 2 types of tastes to mix and match. Excellent, lovely service.

2. Davey Jone's Locker with Jazzy ★★★☆☆

   The Pork Belly starter is woefully inadequate.. Two little slivers of ... something.. I barely got to taste it. That is just greedy. Our steaks were underdone when it was clear we said "medium rare" .. now mistakes are mistakes and so we were swiftly assisted with good food returning.. But A STEAKHOUSE specialty is getting their STEAK RIGHT, not so! By the steak was nice and tasty and adequate. Please note, damaged steak knives are not a good reflection neither. The steak knifepoint was broken off and bent inwards, seriously, no one checking this?! The main gripe be far was the rip-off two sliverings of piek belly on the starter menu.. DO NOT ORDER this..

   Amazing Service, the staff were attentive and friendly. We got the lunch menu we both got cheddar mushrooms and bread for starters which were lovely and then steak frites with an additional peppercorn sauce each and also mac and cheese. The food was really tasty and good value for money. The only thing is there was a 20% tax added to the food which we only learned of upon receiving the bill but it was great value for the quality of food we received.

   In all honesty we were looked after brilliantly. The service was impeccable and the food was exquisite. Had the Chateaubriand and Rothschild Wine. I particularly enjoyed the Camembert mash! Finished off with a wonderful Tiramisu :D Even rang the bell on the way out!
