Always first class service and care given with kindness and compassion. A big thank you to Kate for looking after our dog Arthur who was very poorly last week. He is now back with his brother and thriving. Wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else. Brilliant vets, nurses and staff at this local practice who genuinely care about your beloved pets. Thank you

Genuine reasonably priced vets who have best interests of the animals at the heart of everything they do. Refreshing change from the corporate scamming big business vets. Always responsive and helpful out of hours too.

Any pets we've taken here have had an excellent experience and prompt and effective care. As far as we know, they're an independent outfit and not part of some large conglomerate, which may also account for their reasonable pricing. The only thing to watch is the parking in their yard, which can be tight and awkward, but you can usually park further away if it's a problem.

Cross Green Vets have been absolutely wonderful throughout our time with them. They have always shown great kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for our goats. Their support meant a lot to us, especially during the difficult time when we lost one of our beloved animals a few years ago. It’s clear they truly care about their patients and their owners, and they consistently go above and beyond to provide excellent care. We couldn’t recommend them more.

Very caring, very professional service and excellent value for money. All the staff are amazing, and the practice is well run, and the pricing is much better than elsewhere.

An excellent vets that I've been going to for well over 25 years now no matter where I've lived at the time. With it being a farm vets as well as for household pets, it is so much cheaper than a general veterinary centre. This was proven very recently as my friends puppy needed an xray & her vets were charging almost £400 whereas when I told her I bet I can get it a lot cheaper, when I phoned to ask for a quote, it was going to cost between £150 ‐ £170, that was including the sedation etc. Such friendly staff work there too & they are so friendly, patient & gentle to the humans as well as for your pets, especially when they are extremely scared like my dogs & cats are & my previous pets have always been scared too as quite a lot of animals are. If you have a very sick pet that has unfortunately become so unwell that no more can be done for them or if they are suffering from pain, the staff are so empathetic & let you take the time to make your own decision upon what you're going to do. If it is the sad time that you have to face the harsh reality of putting your pet to sleep, they will give you as much time & space to say goodbye & give cuddles etc & when it is time, the staff member goes at your pace & once they have confirmed the end of life has come, they will let you know & ask if you want more time with your deceased furry family member. You will also get a choice of what you would like to do at the end of life too in terms of having your pet cremated on her own or in a mix with other animals. You also choose if you want their ashes & if so, you get a choice if they came in a paper or wooden box. Obviously the price reflects with every decision you make. Unfortunately due to my illnesses & disabilities, I'm a paraplegic wheelchair user & therefore unable to use the front door as even though there is a ramp, there are still large steps, but with a bit of difficulty, luckily I can eventually wheel in & out of the back door which is located in the corner of the car park, this doorway has a low jump up for the front wheels of my wheelchair & I'm able to get through to the reception & waiting room this way. They have extremely convenient opening hours too, particularly for those who are able to work: Walk-in Surgery Weekdays 9.30am - 9.00am 1.45pm - 2.30pm 5.55pm - 7.00pm Saturday. 9.00am - 9.30am Appointments: Weekdays 4:00pm - 5:00pm In addition to these hours: Mon 12.00pm - 1.20pm & 3.00pm - 5.30pm Thursday 10.00am - 1.20pm Just speak to a member of staff or ring the surgery to book an appointment or if you have an emergency, they will fit you in & as a member of staff is usually there for the majority of the day, for pets they have opened the surgery for me a couple of times in the past & for larger animals, they'll come out to you as quickly as possible.
