I contacted this company on Friday 21/11/2025 and spoke to Sargon, and Wow! this lovely man was most helpful and knowledgeable. I had a shower leak that unfortunately came through into the kitchen ceiling/light fittings and nearly flooded out the kitchen. My insurance company were not most helpful and making me feel uneasy with the process of dealing with my claim. I spoke to Sargon again today 24/11/2025 who genuinely has put himself out to help with my situation and kindly referred another company like themselves, as IC Assist are not in my area but the other company have stepped in quickly to help and have been brilliant also, as it would have meant dealing with different trades people and it was just becoming to overwhelming for me especially not being in good health. This is a personal THANK YOU to Sargon at IC Assist - Insurance Claim Property Repairs for putting me as ease and helping me with a difficult situation, that I was finding increasingly stressful. Terrible customer service experience — extremely disappointed. I placed an online order with B&Q, and the wrong color items were delivered. That was over three months ago, and I’ve been chasing this ever since. I’ve contacted their customer service almost daily, and every time I’m told the issue is being “escalated”, but nothing gets resolved. The incorrect items are still sitting in my flat, taking up space, despite me warning them that I cannot keep such large items. I’ve spent an unacceptable amount of time and energy trying to get this sorted, and I still haven’t received a refund or a proper solution. I’m very disappointed with B&Q’s customer service and especially their escalation team. Based on this experience, I absolutely would not recommend shopping with them online.

I engaged Sargon and IC Assist as I was having issues conducting discussions with our Insurance company in respect to water damage that impacted our weekend home. Sargon added an extra dimension that I had not considered from my earlier discussions with our Insurance company and he could devote more time on our Water damage claim. I used IC Assist when I had to make a claim for damage caused by a leak from the flat above. The leak caused damage to my kitchen ceiling and walls. IC Assist came out, took moisture meter readings, pictures and measurements and talked me through the work required and the claim process. The service was excellent, I didn't have to do anything once they were involved as they dealt with everything for me. They sent the quote to my insurance company, put drying equipment in and organised the various tradesmen to carry out all the repairs, they even dealt with the managing agents for me. They were punctual, friendly, kept me up to date and the work carried out was to an excellent standard (better than what it was before the leak). I would have no hesitation in using them again and I've since recommended them to family and friends who have also needed help with their home insurance claims. Thanks again for all your help.
