   So disappointed with this vets never posted a bad review before but all they care about is money money money would never use again so sad paid £700 no care for my pet all they cared about was the 61p they said we owed do not use if you care about your pet !!!

   Sadly we had to have our old dog put to sleep yesterday, as you can imagine we were absolutely devastated. The staff were wonderful and very understanding and made a very difficult time so much more bearable. Many thanks for your patience and understanding and for giving our beautiful old girl the peaceful send off she deserved.

   Recently referred to the Halifax clinic for my dog to receive surgery to fix a broken leg from my vets in York. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The surgery is lovely and clean. The compassion by the staff towards owner and animal is second to none. If I lived in Halifax I would definitely use this vets. The only downside which is common among vets is a small car park but there is a Tesco car park across the road so not too much of an issue.

   Excellent Vets for Pets. Having been referred to Halifax from our own veterinary practice here in Accrington for cruciate ligament surgery on our very lively 10 year old Springer Spaniel “Bob”. All the staff and James the Veterinary surgeon at Vets for Pets Halifax made us feel stress free and genuinely welcomed. James explained the procedure required and Bobs post op recovery program clearly and respectfully. He was clearly a very knowledgeable experienced orthopaedic veterinarian who knows his stuff. I am very pleased to say that Bob had his surgery, and is recovering well and is back walking and swimming again without pain and discomfort. We now keep Bob on his lead while out walking because he’s a typical spaniel who likes to constantly run, please and have fun. He certainly keeps us active, fit and has allowed us to appreciate Englands green open spaces. Anyone thinking of buying a springer spaniel for a pet will be rewarded with their never ending love and loyalty. Although they require lots of walking, training and just love to be loved like any other dog. We are lucky people” We would certainly recommend Vet’s for Pets Halifax for any animal that is lame. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy the pleasure of lots of outdoor life again.

   Lucien the vet was very good with our rescue cat, Derek, his lack of useful medical history and medical issues associated with life living on the streets. The young nurse was very kind and explained the med dosages clearly so we understood what to do.

The call handler accommodated their needs by offering and booking a specific appointment which they knew would improve the experience for my self and my pet. The appointment was satisfactory and I got the result I needed as well as aftercare guidance and advice for how best to treat my home
