Sadly in Wales for a funeral but had the best experience at this venue, visited over 2 nights and mornings. The food was really good but the staff went above and beyond to give us a good time. Greeted at the door to who I believe is the manager in the nicest manner. Ffion was exceptional so friendly and checking in on us. We also ate in the bar area and the barmaid (sadly didn't catch her name, christmas tie) was also very friendly made a fuss of our 2 children talking about santa ect. Teaching them welsh along the way. Couldn't fault the staff one little bit. The restraunt was obviously extremely busy this weekend but we still received exceptional service the whole time. Thank you

The member of staff we had served us was pleasant and very friendly. The food was great and our party all enjoyed their meals. The place was clean and tidy. Quiet at the time we visited.

Very Disappointing Experience Visited this restaurant with my family and sadly it was far from enjoyable. We were seated quickly, but that was the only positive part of the visit. After ordering, we waited far too long for our food. When the food finally arrived, we had to help ourselves for cutlery and basic condiments, as staff was not bothered to bring it or explain it's a self service. The portions were extremely small for the prices, and the quality didn’t match the cost. No one checked in to ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything, which only added to the frustration. The wait for the ice cream dessert was also unnecessarily long, leaving us even more disappointed. We left feeling unsatisfied and still hungry. Overall, a poor experience from start to finish. Definitely not worth the money, and we won’t be returning or recommending this place.

I visited today with my niece and son, and I just want to say a huge thank-you to the staff. They had no idea of the difficult circumstances our family is going through, but their kindness and friendliness made such a difference. They were polite, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. For my niece, routine and reassurance are really important, and the team made the day feel calm, special, and completely stress-free. She even won a big chocolate bar on the tombola, which absolutely made her day — she couldn’t wait to give it to her mummy. Thank you to all the staff for making a simple meal out feel so positive. It meant more than you know.

Bad food at a good price. I honestly prefer McDonald's. Cheap cuts of meat, cooked correctly but served poorly. It's big money for what you get too. I only came as I stayed in the hotel. Now I'm dreading breakfast. Steak was a particularly sinewey cut. Chips were salted to death. Even the peas were lame. Starter of prawns was fine but how hard is it to deep fry a thing? I had low expectations and it didn't disappoint. At least the service was punctual and the beer nice. Sigh. Now my clean short stinks of oil after 73 mins sitting in this place. Never again.

It was busy but we had a table in the bat area. I had starters and main meal for under £10 and the food was so nice. It's a nice welcoming place, but I would advise you to pre book a table before you go. Staff nice friendly and welcoming.

Our server Amy was fantastic, genuine friendly service and made conversation with my son which was nice. She is a credit to your business. The barman / busser was also very hardworking and polite. Great service here from all. Food wise, great selection and everything tasted great, however the surf and turf seemed to be lacking a few things as described on the menu, like tomato, mushroom and rocket. The plate looked cramped, and chips portion was a bit small for the price. Drinks and desserts were all fab.

Although the restaurant was rather full, we were served quickly and the wait for our order wasn't too long. I went for the turkey and trimmings dinner which was delicious and plentiful. Our server Amie was an absolute delight and she was so professional and efficient, but she was very friendly and helpful, with a good sense of humour. Thank you!

Popped in for an unplanned visit. Staff very friendly and polite (we were served by Diane). Plenty of car parking and spacious tables inside. Food was great. Served quick and was fresh and hot. Meals cooked perfectly. The half a rack of ribs was huge! The children's pizza meal is a fair size to! Of course we had dessert to finish off a great meal!
