Stayed here for a long weekend.on arrivel we was greeted with the site staff who was very friendly.they kept the site pristine.there are no facilities on the site has it says on the site description but no problem. There is a motorhome emptying point. There is a recycling points along the usual general waste bins. There are 2x pubs within walking distance from the site.the approach to the site is good.just take care when going over the bridge.after the bridge you have priority over oncoming traffic before you start climbing the hill. The site has a dog walk area, could do with it being a little bigger but at least they have one. Definitely will be returning.

One of the best Club sites we have been to. Helen and Neil were so friendly and welcoming. They keep the site spotless. Although one of the smaller sites they use wild flower strips , trees and plants to give people privacy on their pitches. There is a little road noise but not a problem - it is a very tranquil site surrounded by trees. There are no toilets or showers but we are happy to use our own facilities so that didn't bother us. The Reception doubles as a shop selling ice creams and everyday items. The site is well situated with a bus stop outside the site which goes to Hebden Bridge . A 20 minute walk takes you to Mytholmroyd where there are shops, pubs, cafés and a canal walk. There is also a train station where you can get trains to Halifax, Leeds, Manchester etc. There are several walks in the area. It is an easy drive to Brontë country and to Hardcastle Craggs where you could spend a whole day walking.

Before we arrived we received a helpful email from the owners informing us of a road closure and alternative routes to take. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly Helen who gave us a choice of two pitches. She always gave our dog a treat which is always appreciated. Throughout our stay, both Helen and Neil were friendly and personable, checking everything was ok. The site is beautifully kept, with little touches like the Herb Garden where you can help yourself. At the back of the site is there is a brook which provides a calming flow of running water in the background. Overall it was a lovely stay and a good location to visit nearby towns and various nature spots.

Nice little site being wanting to come here for a while lovely friendly greeting from the lovely lady ( not like the woman in abbey wood London who was an absolute cow with us). A friendly relaxed atmosphere and very well kept site which was very well drained because we had the mother of down pours overnight and the site coped well you wouldn't of known it had been raining! Handy bus stop outside the site ran into hebdon and beyond just a little reminder that the site has no shower or toilet block so make sure your facilities are up to scratch! Would definitely come back again!

Lovely quiet place great value for money. Wardens really friendly. As always issues with owners with noisey dogs who this it's OK to let their dogs bark continously. Brilliant centre to explores so many places.

Excellent little site, some pitches are next to the road so may experience some noise, therefore I recommend a pitch further in if possible. It's a little cheaper that the typical club site, I found that was due to it not having toilet, washroom and shower facilities. It's about a 40 minute walk into Hebden Bridge but there's also buses that run hourly with stops on both side of the road right outside the sites entrance.
