My son Lennie who is 8 years old has suffered with what I wasn't aware was ARFID since he was 18 months old. Lennie loves his sport and is a good runner, but his lack of nutrition has been leaving him tired and irritated. In the recent months Lennie has wanted to eat more food but been unable to try new foods. We visited David at Harley Street on Monday and David formed the loveliest relationship with Lennie within the session, David made Lennie feel relaxed and happy, after the session and Hypnosis David invited Lennie to try some food but only if he wanted to. Lennie then proceeded to try 15 new foods! I was sitting there in amazement. Further to my amazement i took Lennie food shopping this week and he picked out Cashew nuts, spinach, cucumber, and spinach all new foods and has been eating them freely on his own initiative this week. It’s been heartwarming to see Lennie enjoy new foods this week and we can’t wait to come back and see David again soon. David is doing something special at The Kilmurry Life Centre. If you’re looking for someone who truly wishes the best for your child then David is that person. We are so happy with the progress made in a short space of time.

Before we found David at The Kilmurry Life Centre, my son was really struggling — emotionally overwhelmed, anxious, and extremely limited in what he felt comfortable eating. It felt like every day was a battle, and we didn’t know how to help him move forward. But everything changed when we started working with David. From the very first session, David created a calm, safe space where my son felt seen, understood, and supported. He formed a bond with him that was genuine and kind, and that trust became the foundation for the incredible progress we’ve seen. Not only has my son become more emotionally resilient and better at managing his feelings, but he’s also now open to trying new foods — something we never thought possible. Mealtimes are no longer a source of stress. He’s become more confident, more positive, and more in control of his reactions and choices. David has helped unlock a version of my son that we always knew was there — one that’s more relaxed, more curious, and finally able to enjoy life the way a 9-year-old should. The impact on our entire family has been profound. I can’t recommend The Kilmurry Life Centre highly enough. If you’re looking for someone who truly understands how to bring out the best in children, David is that person. We are endlessly grateful.

David Kilmury has completely transformed our 9-year-old son’s life. Our son, Arlo, struggled with ARFID and could only tolerate about 7 different foods. Thanks to David’s incredible support and expertise, Arlo now enjoys over 30 different foods—a change we never thought possible. But that’s not all. Arlo also had trouble sleeping and relied on melatonin every night. Since working with David and using his hypnotherapy recordings, Arlo now falls asleep naturally and peacefully—without medication. The difference this has made in his overall well-being has been truly amazing, no longer dealing with side effects from this medication. David’s approach has not only improved Arlo’s eating and sleeping habits but has brought so much peace and happiness to our entire family. We’re beyond grateful for everything he’s done. Everyone needs a David in their life!!!

David - what a hero! I spent years searching for the right treatment and getting nowhere. It wasn’t until I turned to private treatment & found David, that my journey to recovery has finally begun. When I first sought help for my health issues, I trusted the NHS to guide me through what I assumed would be a straightforward process of diagnosis & recovery. But what began as a search for answers soon spiraled into a series of missteps and misunderstandings that left me physically & mentally broken. Passed around different departments , I received conflicting advice and was misdiagnosed multiple times - leaving me trapped in a perpetual cycle of confusion, fear and anxiety. Unable to find the support I needed, my health continued to deteriorate and I was signed off work for six months, at a life threatening low weight and battling severe anxiety and stress. I was referred to an eating disorder unit, where I was boxed into the label of ‘anorexia’ - a condition far removed from my actual issues. Treatment was one-size-fits-all treatment and completely wrong for my situation, making matters even worse. This fundamental misunderstanding left me feeling isolated, invalidated, and like I was failing every week when no progress was made. The treatment plan lacked nuance and didn’t provide therapy or practical tools for improvement. Instead, I faced judgment, threats of hospitalisation, and no actionable support. Admitting my case was too ‘risky’ for them to handle, they resorted to hospitalisation—a step I knew would only worsen my food-related fears and mental health issues. Recognising this would be wrong for me, they initiated a mental health assessment to detain me against my will. This was one of the most terrifying moments of my life. With an existing phobia of hospitals, following a traumatic experience involving complications & a blood transfusion growing up, the prospect of being forced into this environment petrified me. I felt powerless, and my family was left scrambling for alternatives. That’s when we found David - who within days had taken me under his wing. Having been let down so many times before, we were hesitant to seek private care and skeptical about therapy after so many failed attempts. But from the moment David responded to our inquiry, everything felt different. He was professional yet compassionate, and his genuine concern for my wellbeing shone through from our very first conversation. For the first time in years, I felt seen, understood, and supported. He is so positive and encouraging, and his approach is filled with techniques and tools that are completely personalized. He’s helping me regain control, relax, and make meaningful changes at a pace that works for me. David listens intently, adapts to my individual needs, and creates an environment where I feel safe to explore and grow. (And not to mention he’s bloody hilarious!) after just a few sessions, my mindset had shifted and I’m already able to eat more freely than I have in years. It’s a long journey, but for the first time in five years of suffering, I’m finally on the road to recovery and can see myself coming back every day. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for David’s constant care and encouragement. He’s not just a therapist— he’s a partner & a real friend. I would recommend him to anyone feeling misunderstood or looking to gain back control of their life and take steps toward a healthier, happier future. David transformed my life. I was a fizzy drinks addict. During pandemic lockdown my habit grew to 20 cans a day. I have wanted to quit fizzy drinks for 25 years. After one session plus a top up session with David I was free of my addiction. I cannot recommend David enough. He is kind, generous with his time and empathetic. If you have any addiction or any other personal challenges then please contact David. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

I have known David professionally for many years and he is a great hypnotherapist, who greatly cares for all his clients. I have experienced what a shift he can bring to mindset and throughly recommend his work. He is very respected by many of his peers and I hope his work continues to flourish as he has nothing but compassion and empathy for those he helps.

David is the synonym of humanitarian. He is very professional and his aim is to help any individual from a child, youth to an adult to achieve their goal and better selves. He is a person that will always pull you up and not down. Also, very inspirational in his own life and success. I am very happy to have had therapy with him and it definitely made a change in my life. The rest is down to you! :)
