“Best psychotherapist in Leamington Spa”
“This is a fab service that offers support to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse and trauma. I highly recommend them and was so glad to avail of their support.”
“I have nothing but positive feedback for the team I was under. From day one was in awe of how well knowledged and understanding the staff are in the area of concern for my individual case. I can't embarrass anyone by naming them publicly, but sincerely, I am so glad I met her first. I dont mean to cast any favouritism, but, for me, in my case, I have no other option but to favouritise, because the lady was the assessor for my condition. I had to ask if she had the same condition because of how precise and accurate she was/is. There was a long wait from GP to the neurodevelopmental team. Starting from the GP late 2019 after seeking a more definitive remedy for the undiagnosed symptoms in childhood, which were apparent and therefore commiserated in adulthood, through the mental health team, was directed to them. In January 2022, I was sent an assessment date. In the assessment I met the most understanding, engaging, friendly, knowledgeable person. It was like she was reading my mind. I remember asking 'how do you know that?'. It's her job ultimately, but, the comfort and confidence it gave me, installed a greater sense of security knowing I was finally in the right place. I was diagnosed after two thorough meetings, then offered treatment. I accepted therapy sessions and online group work post diagnosis to better understand the condition, how it affects other people, and how self care adaptations can help to live better with this new identity. There, we met other members of the team and again their experience within this area of expertise was refreshing. One of the very first points after laying down the rules of respecting each other was 'You are the experts - it is your own experience' and 'same diagnosis different experiences, or different diagnosis but similar experience.' Being allowed to regress and ultimately realise that this condition is a birthright goes on to relax the anxieties of 'not knowing why', and cannot thank this team enough for making the process of acceptance alot easier. The team display compassion, respect, collaboration, excellence, integrity, professionalism, non judgemental values and succeed at having people at their heart. I have been treated as an individual foremost, and not a 'just someone else with the same old story, heard it all before' powerless sheep. I like that. I like how they know what they're talking about, and equally how they continue to want to learn and grow... alot Thank you”
“Tulia supported me and my daughter through our ILR application, and we're so grateful for their help. They were professional, kind , and always clear with their advice. The process was stressful, but they made it manageable.I highly recommend them to anyone needing support.”
“David - what a hero! I spent years searching for the right treatment and getting nowhere. It wasn’t until I turned to private treatment & found David, that my journey to recovery has finally begun. When I first sought help for my health issues, I trusted the NHS to guide me through what I assumed would be a straightforward process of diagnosis & recovery. But what began as a search for answers soon spiraled into a series of missteps and misunderstandings that left me physically & mentally broken. Passed around different departments , I received conflicting advice and was misdiagnosed multiple times - leaving me trapped in a perpetual cycle of confusion, fear and anxiety. Unable to find the support I needed, my health continued to deteriorate and I was signed off work for six months, at a life threatening low weight and battling severe anxiety and stress. I was referred to an eating disorder unit, where I was boxed into the label of ‘anorexia’ - a condition far removed from my actual issues. Treatment was one-size-fits-all treatment and completely wrong for my situation, making matters even worse. This fundamental misunderstanding left me feeling isolated, invalidated, and like I was failing every week when no progress was made. The treatment plan lacked nuance and didn’t provide therapy or practical tools for improvement. Instead, I faced judgment, threats of hospitalisation, and no actionable support. Admitting my case was too ‘risky’ for them to handle, they resorted to hospitalisation—a step I knew would only worsen my food-related fears and mental health issues. Recognising this would be wrong for me, they initiated a mental health assessment to detain me against my will. This was one of the most terrifying moments of my life. With an existing phobia of hospitals, following a traumatic experience involving complications & a blood transfusion growing up, the prospect of being forced into this environment petrified me. I felt powerless, and my family was left scrambling for alternatives. That’s when we found David - who within days had taken me under his wing. Having been let down so many times before, we were hesitant to seek private care and skeptical about therapy after so many failed attempts. But from the moment David responded to our inquiry, everything felt different. He was professional yet compassionate, and his genuine concern for my wellbeing shone through from our very first conversation. For the first time in years, I felt seen, understood, and supported. He is so positive and encouraging, and his approach is filled with techniques and tools that are completely personalized. He’s helping me regain control, relax, and make meaningful changes at a pace that works for me. David listens intently, adapts to my individual needs, and creates an environment where I feel safe to explore and grow. (And not to mention he’s bloody hilarious!) after just a few sessions, my mindset had shifted and I’m already able to eat more freely than I have in years. It’s a long journey, but for the first time in five years of suffering, I’m finally on the road to recovery and can see myself coming back every day. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for David’s constant care and encouragement. He’s not just a therapist— he’s a partner & a real friend. I would recommend him to anyone feeling misunderstood or looking to gain back control of their life and take steps toward a healthier, happier future. “Jennifer recently assessed my son for ASD & ADHD combined with the additional QB test and provided me with a really thorough report, which had lots of helpful recommendations that can now be implemented to help my son. Jennifer was there to answer any queries I had whether it was via phone or email. She is a brilliant listener and made me and my son feel very comfortable. Being a mum to two boys who have SEN I knew going down this route to see Jennifer was the better option than to wait many years for help, support and advice from Camhs - like I previously done with my eldest. It is a shame I did not know about her then but I am so grateful for her time, kindness and help she has given me and my youngest son to now help him flourish. I would highly recommend Jennifer. Thank you very much! Xx”
