Lovely friendly and caring attitude towards our puppies that were boarded for 5 days, well looked after and one needed to be given regular medication which the staff were happy to attend to, wonderful staff and would definitely recommend Mink Farm for all the care our puppies received
I’ve been meaning to leave this review for far too long, but I want to sincerely thank the team at Mink Farm for their outstanding care and support during a very difficult time in January 2024. Due to a sudden family bereavement, I had to travel abroad at short notice and urgently needed somewhere for my German Shepherd, Bailey, to stay. I was incredibly stressed, heartbroken, and unsure of what to do next after a negative experience with another kennel that same morning. That’s when I contacted Mink Farm and I will never forget the compassion and professionalism they showed me. From the very first phone call, their response was warm, calm, and reassuring. Despite the short notice, they welcomed Bailey without hesitation, took the time to understand the situation, and offered nothing but kindness and flexibility. It was clear that their priority was the wellbeing of my dog and offering genuine support to someone in a tough spot. Bailey settled in beautifully. The team sent me regular updates and photos while I was abroad, and it was such a comfort to see how relaxed, happy, and well-cared for he was. Not once did they raise concerns or make me feel like a burden, on the contrary, they treated Bailey like one of their own. When I returned to collect him, it was obvious that he’d been loved, looked after, and had bonded with the staff, who were genuinely sad to see him go. The level of care, empathy, and professionalism at Mink Farm was everything I could have hoped for and more. I will absolutely use them again without hesitation and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a kennel that treats your dog with real care and respect. Thank you again, Mink Farm, you turned a very stressful experience into one of comfort and reassurance, and I’ll always be grateful.
Booked Mink Farm after a previous bad experience leaving our pup somewhere else last year. We explained to the lady behind the desk how nervous and anxious we where from our previous time and also because bears a big puppy and can be a bit bouncy and hyper, we was instantly put at ease and reassured! We asked if we could have a couple of updates and we was told that was absolutely fine, which again, made us relax!! The girl that came and got bear was so lovely and bear took to her straight away and he walked with her without even looking back! A couple of days in we got a lovely update and a few beautiful photos of our boy! Which made our holiday as we where on edge worrying, this was a regular thing as a day later we had more pictures telling us how much they loved our boy!! When we picked him up, he came out happy, calm, relaxed and we have to say, smelling absolutely beautiful!! We 100% would recommend Mink Farm and will absolutely be using them again! Friendly, clean, calming and beautiful!! Thank you so much for all your hard work and kindness, and for looking after our doggy, we are beyond grateful xxxx
Looked after our dog, sent regular updates to us whilst we were away so we could see that he was doing well as it was the first time we had left him. Paid for play sessions whilst he was in there which was a nice extra to add in and reduce the guilt of leaving him!
Billy Bob has been there several times and I know he is well looked after. I can relax when I go away knowing that he has such great care. Happy to recommend
Simply superb! Great kennels, staff are truly friendly and interested in the animals in their care. Rates are reasonable, which means good value for your money. Doggie drop off service is perfect when you can't get there yourself, they can even drop off after closing time. Cannot recommend enough!!
My 14 month old Labrador Teddy stayed at Mink Farm for several days. He’s certainly had a good time. The receptionist and staffs are all very friendly and helpful.
The staff are as pleased to see my dog as my dog is them. Great service collection and return. Absolutely shattered when she comes home. They even took extra special care when she was over fed by a friend prior to her going for day care when I was on holiday. Such a lovely family run company.
Charlie had a short 3 night stay and came back happy and healthy… staff was amazing at all turns and the location makes me wish they had room for some adult lodging as well… just beautiful.
