“We had a fantastic stay at the new Hilton Woking. The breakfast was deffinitely a standout and worth a visit even if you're not staying at the hotel. Beautiful views and a spread that truly felt a cut above any other Hilton we’ve tried in the UK. All staff are great, but Evelyn made our mornings extra special with her friendly and attentive service. As Diamond members, we felt valued right away and were upgraded to a lovely suite, which was a real bonus. The Executive Lounge was also fantastic- comfortable, with a great selection of drinks and snacks. Can’t recommend this new Hilton enough for anyone visiting the area.”
“Stayed here last weekend and had a few drinks in the bar. Nice quant hotel room, had no issues with parking or noise.”
“This Hotel/Pub was the perfect location for us. We were visiting a family member recovering from major surgery but also wanted to explore the area. We were not disappointed as Woking (cinema & Theatre) and the ‘Saturn Way’ were on our doorstep. As regards the hotel we were greeted by Lee who set a wonderful first impression. Nothing was too much trouble for him and the rest of the staff. The room had recently been refurbished to a high standard and was immaculately clean and comfortable. The pub itself had a wonderful relaxing atmosphere and the food was very tasty. Big thank you to Lee, Nessie and the rest of the staff for making our stay memorable. Free parking a big bonus.”
“We ended up at DoubleTree by Hilton Woking unexpectedly after our original booking at another hotel was cancelled. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team showed true professionalism and kindness. They understood our difficult situation and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Their warm attitude and excellent service completely turned around what had started as a very stressful experience. Thanks to their care, our stay became enjoyable and memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for international visitors, because the staff here truly know how to treat guests with respect and hospitality.”
“Much better than living on the streets”
“What an amazing premier inn! The best we have ever stayed in! Tara on reception was amazing, she went above and beyond to make sure our visit was tiptop! We had an amazing room, great food and great customer service from all the reception team but genuinely Tara was brilliant. Attention to detail as you’d expect in a smaller private establishment - really appreciate it! Thank you!”
“Friendly staff, also super helpful! Hotel is very clean, room was spotless, bed really comfortable. Really close to town. We've stayed here several times and the rooms have always been perfect”
“Excellent location just outside Woking station. As you would expect the room was clean. I’ve stayed in a few Travelodge hotels over the last year or two and the rooms in this one are even better than most: I guess it has had a recent refurbishment: USB-A ports by the bed, and a very good shower room. Breakfast was very good, again as you would expect. So many thanks to all the invisible people who make this level of service possible – cleaning, catering et cetera. A big shout out to Supervisor Manika and to Pritam on the desk for excellent service - and in particular for recovering the small coffee flask which I inadvertently left behind in the room.”
“Looked after our dog, sent regular updates to us whilst we were away so we could see that he was doing well as it was the first time we had left him. Paid for play sessions whilst he was in there which was a nice extra to add in and reduce the guilt of leaving him!”
“Been coming to Mayford barbers for many years and always lots of chats and laughs like a second family 5 star from me”
“I spent 3 nights when I came to settle my daughter at the University of Surrey. It’s located in a calm area that can be easily reached by car. Its private car park in front of the property can accommodate 8-10 cars. It has a beautiful garden to enjoy in a sunny day, even to work remotely with the internet available. Nothing to complain about in the room, all tidy and clean, with a comfortable bed. A nice breakfast was included in the price when I booked directly after checking it on the booking sites.”
“Booked Hillside Farm Barn for a 2 night stay. Its easy accessible from London but feels like a complete different place! Such a lovely, quiet area and the studio itself is stunning. Personally thought it was larger than expected and everything you need is in there. Nigel and Vicky are very friendly and helpful and staying here had a much more personal touch than any hotel. Planned to venture out on the Saturday but the weather wasn't great so stayed in and binge watched movies instead (the TV has access to netflix, iPlayer, chromecast etc). Can't wait to stay again but for longer as 2 nights flew by!”
“Been there at a Friday evening and it was great! Callum was working behind the counter and he was very polite and friendly, great guy! A band set up inside the pub and played some good quality music, nothing too loud and definitely elevating the whole atmosphere. Bonus points for the delicious Brazilian bbq that is being served there during the weekends, at the rear garden. Bottom line, great pub!”
“We recently had our wedding at Gorse Hill, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. Everything on the day was seamless from start to finish — the communication, the planning process, and especially the day-of coordination. The venue itself is stunning — The grounds, the hotel and the event space were perfect for how we saw our wedding. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful everything was and how delicious the food was. The atmosphere was exactly what we had hoped for: romantic, relaxed, and most importantly unforgettable. A huge thank you to Brandon for going above and beyond to make sure every detail on the day was perfect. We truly felt supported every step of the way and were able to enjoy our day completely stress-free. He is the person you want to have on the day to help and guide. If you're considering Gorse Hill for your wedding or event — do it. You’ll be in incredible hands, and your day will be everything you dream it to be. Thank you to Nicky for brilliant communication, always responding within minutes and being super helpful with organising and planning. Thank you again for making our special day so magical! Paulina & Phil”
“Neat and homely. Super attentive and friendly staff!”
“I have stayed here on a couple of occasions due to local work commitments. Each time I have had a very enjoyable stay. Clean and comfortable accommodation right in town. Excellent value for money and I don't hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone, especially any business travellers.”
“Had a really nice roast dinner here - the food was delicious and the service was warm and friendly. We were served by a lovely guy called Connor who couldn’t do enough to help us. We were very impressed!”
“A lovely place with a warm welcome. Some truly historic rooms in a very historic building. Buffet breakfast offered. Lots of interesting and quirky places to sit. Lovely garden. On a busy road. Ten pounds to park but plenty of free places nearby.”
“This was the best prepared short-term rental we've ever been to. It had all the necessary appliances, kitchenware and household items to make us feel at home for a week. The apartment was very clean and the host has made sure that it's well stocked with everything we need in the kitchen or bathrooms. We knew that it's close to the rail station and had concerns regarding noise from the trains but this turn out not to be a problem - the windows provide good sound insulation and the host had also left ear plugs in case we have light sleepers in our group. Although we had not booked a parking space one was offered to us at check in and we found it most useful as the area may be hard to park at due to its proximity to the train station. Good thing about that station is that you can get to London Waterloo in 30 min. Woking centre and High Street are all within a 5 minute walk providing access to restaurants and pubs as well as a shopping mall and grocery stores which was a great convenience for our group.”
“Very professional and efficient - just what I need. Can't recommend highly enough.”
