There are so many unsuitable things for sale especially for the hamsters. The staff give the incorrect adivice and label hamsters as "good first pets". If you are wanting to get a pet, I recommend doing research online rather than going to Pets At Home otherwise you will accidentally raise a very unhappy pet.
CAMERON WAS VERY HELPFUL AND POLITE. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. SHOP HAD CLOSED HOWEVER HE STILL GAVE A LOT OF HELPFUL INFORMATION IN THE FAR PARK REGARDING MY QUESRIES. OUTSTANDING MEMBER OF STAFF
Me & my partner have been twice in the last week as we havejust set up a fish tank. The staff was lovely and very knowleadgable. The first guy who helped us (his name might have been Cam or Cal) was great in giving us all the infos and yesterday with Bethan who helped us to get the fishes & shrimps we wanted :)
The service was fantastic. Honey was really helpful, patient, knowledgable and friendly. She answered all our questions, took time to ensure we had everything we needed, talking through all the options and requirements. I didn’t think there would be much to a pet store but they far exceeded my expectations. Friendly and happy to help, even over the phone to offer support and advice after already purchasing a pet. Highly recommend.
Great shop. Helpful staff. An excellent adoption system for Guinea Pigs. Good background information. A wonderful way to give a new friend a forever home!
Cat owner. Good range of cat litter and mega packs of pouches. Decent deals of Sheba. They have a large range and cute little pets you can see, aka “cheap zoo” #FOTC ☺️. People take their cute dogs there so that’s fun too! Lost a star as the queues can be long…I think because the staff and shoppers talk about their pets. Nice and friendly etc but a pain to queue behind.
michael is a lovely man, went here to pick up some food for the cat. another staff member behind us (dark hair, quite dark makeup, i believe her name began with an L?) seemed very joyful and polite too!
I was served by Andrew at the pets at home in Fosse Park and had an amazing experience. He was polite, cheerful and overall made the customer experience amazing. Most recently I’ve found you don’t get that type of welcoming service that actually makes you enjoy spending your money so it was refreshing and just a joyful experience overall
We was after getting a baby bunny and the lady was sooo helpful gave us lots of details and information. Helped us pick out what we would need extra to what we already had. And we came away first time pet owners
