Pets at Home is my flavours one and the Staff is very friendly to talk to like Claire, Jade, Hannah and Char too!!!!
Recently they have let the Pets at home brand down at this location. Other locations are great but really terrible customer service. Also, the Groom room NO LONGER call once the dog is ready for collection (well, after 33 minutes so they get £5 extra) - not sure why they stopped calling once he is ready. Been there a few times when they are not ready... does that mean they pay me if they are late?... Wonder whether it is a new manager who is trying to get extra revenue out of customer.
Hopeless pet shop, they never have stock of anything, I don't understand how they are in business. Got the till with an air pump, air stones, non return valve and T pieces. Asked where is the air tube, out of stock! Fine, the whole lot went back on the shelf, £20+ sale lost over the cheapest and easiest item to stock. Want to buy a pet, had to assure them we had a pen for it first, no it's our first one, we will buy one of course, they had no stock. I'd love to support my local shops, but the sooner Melton is rid of this incompetent lot the better.
Took my dog in for her groom, the staff there are so friendly and Pip loves going there. The groomers do a great job and she always looks so velvety when she comes out.
I have been taking my working cocker spaniel for grooming for 3 years now yo Melton branch and every time we have received an excellent service. I have used groom rooms at Bretton (Peterborough) and Letchworth (Hertfordshire) branches and they actually transferred my pup’s grooming requirements to each of the branches. Pretty impressive for a national company. Only downside for Melton branch is limited treats available. Alot of lines they do not get new stock. Not sure why. Has been case for a while. Staff are always lovely and helpful
I get everything I need for my cat and dog, and really good advice as well. Really nice staff who are really knowledgeable as well.
Always helpfully staff, only thing they don't have is cat gravy food :(
Awful groom room. Rang me 5 mins after dropping dog off saying they couldn't do it because he was too scared (absolute nonsense he'd have been that scared probablymore excited) didn't even give him chance to settle or anything. No other groomer has had an issue.
Some staff more helpful then others, looking for new food for my cat so many choices and loads of cat and dog toys.
Friendly staff quite knowledgeable on most pet subjects. Good variety of animal foods. When assistance is needed they are quite prompt in helping. Nice displays easy to find products.well planed out floor displays.
