   The best pet shop in Rutland, the staff are very knowledgeable & honestly care for the animals they serve. A great range for all prices & needs. My dog will drag me there all the time which I think is the only seal of approval it needs!

   A lovely shop with a lovely team. My partner and I visit Oakham pretty much every Saturday morning and when we are walking back to the car our dog Billy pulls us to the shop and stands longingly at the door. Of course we are push overs so we go buy him a treat. The staff are always super welcoming and always give Billy a treat and some fuss. A great selection of food and toys. Everything you could need. Staff are lovely and we will always pop in !

   Over the past 8 years I have experienced first hand the kindness and support from Tails & Whiskers, from helping us with introducing our first puppy to our family to more recently opening up the shop early for fitting a harness to a distressed cat.    Excellent staff (sorry I didn’t ask your names) with very helpful product knowledge about puppy food which I purchased today. I arrived before the opening hour of 9am and was allowed in and made welcome. I highly recommend this excellent pet shop Tails ‘n’ Whiskers on the High Street of Oakham, Rutland. I have a very simple philosophy of shopping locally as much as possible to help try to keep independent shops open. I also bought our puppy and adult dogs Christmas toys from here, both made by Kong and they have lasted well considering our sharp puppies teeth, that’s quite something !

   Excellent service from staff who were extremely helpful and patient assisting us with a harness for our dog. First one didn't fit properly so they told us to come back and swap it for a smaller size. Service like this is why we still shop on the High Street though sadly diminishing in some other shops. If you need pet supplies though, shop with these guys and enjoy the service with a smile.

   We had a fantastic experience at the shop today. So helpful and knowledgeable on all aspects of looking after a new puppy. The owner had so much time for us, answering questions about our soon to arrive pup. Didn't push products on us and helped us make our own decisions on what we might need. Great range of products and prices. **Highly recommend Tails and Whiskers**. We will be going back! (Really good COVID measures too).
