Charles & the team were brilliant when our Chihuahua had a heart attack. Very calm & compassionate. They also picked up things our regular vet hadnt mentioned. They stabalised her over night & gave us a very detailed report to pass to our own regular vet when we collected her next day, so she could continue treatment and she's since made a good recovery. Can't thank the team enough!!! Only wish we had an emergency vets closer to us

I attended VETS Now emergency clinic in Coventry on Saturday afternoon with my kitten who was vomiting + hadn't eaten for 2 days, on the advice of a vet I consulted prior to going. It was stressful as I was on my own + my kitten was in obvious distress. The reception staff were lovely + engaged with me from the out set. I had to wait about 20 mins to see a vet but when I did she immediately explained the situation + was very mindful of the stressful situation I was in +, more importantly, the cost of the visit, so wasn't about to offer any treatment not needed at that point, which I found extremely refreshing. She treated my kitten after a thorough examination + explain what to expect in the following days + how to go forward . I was very reassured + my kitten improved almost immediately. The only downside is the cost of the whole experience. To just walk through the door is over Β£300, ( I was advised of this before going). However, as my insurance company cap the emergency cost at Β£200 I am now out of pocket by over Β£100, which just adds to the stress of it all. I know that is down to my insurance company's policy but I am guessing it's the same with most insurance companies. No one attends an emergency clinic if they don't have to, + not all people have insurance etc. I, personally, don't know how they arrive at the Β£300 plus fee but it would be nice if it could be brought down to a little closer to the amount most insurance companies accept + pay.

Called ahead of time to emergency appointment. Receptionist was very understanding and welcoming. Vet saw my injured dog . After less than 4 hours had to return as my pet my bleeding through the dressing and needed. Had to pay consultation fee again … waited for over 1 hour to be seen … re bandaged and paid again … less than 1 hour back at home and bleeding came through dressing again !

Cat with broken tail: Wonderful welcome, only had to wait for a minute. The vet was very pleasant, removed the cat to another room to have a better look and returned after 5 minutes with Metacam. I asked what we should do next and I was met with a non commital β€˜wait and see, it might go black and drop off or it might get better. If you are worried, come back or go to your own vet’. Needless to say, as the tail was stone cold and clearly had no sensation / feeling at all, we went to our own vet the next day and they kept her and amputated the same day. That was an expensive 5 minutes for 3ml of Metacam and little reassurance.

Visited with much loved golden retriever whose legs no longer held her up after 16 years. I knew she had reached the end so arrived tearful. From there moment we got there the staff were kindness personified, from the nurses who came out with a wee cart to take her in, to the lovely vet who agreed with my reading of the situation but listened and gave us all the time I needed. She gave me space, both alone with Libby to say all I needed to say and then was so gentle and caring as she gave her the injection and (this made a huge difference) stayed with Libby after her death, stroking and talking to her whole I went to get my other dog to see her sister. She could not have been kinder had Libby been her own dog and I remember her, and all the staff, with such gratitude. Could not have been better. Gave my beautiful gentle girl a beautiful gentle end. Thank you

Brought my dog in as an emergency after she started showing signs of toxic poisoning. Booked via phone. They were ready and expecting us when we arrived. They took such good care of my dog. The vet I initially saw was kind, caring and professional. She didn’t offer any false hope but explained things throughly and explored different scenarios/ treatment choices together. I was told I could call any time but that they would call me if I needed to go back. The receptionists were all great too. Took care of insurance and paperwork etc. The first night of treatment was rough and there were a few complications. Together with the care from my normal vets the next day their expert care definitely saved my dogs life.

I can’t speak highly enough of Vets Now. We had to take our little dog Rocky to be put to sleep. The vet was wonderful, very caring and compassionate. She informed us at every stage what she was doing and how Rocky would respond. At such a difficult time we were treated with care and empathy. Thank you all very much ❀️

I used the video triage service who were very helpful and explained the options. We decided to go in at 10:30pm on a Sunday and they were already expecting us. Georgia was on reception who was very helpful and reassuring, answered all my questions and took good care of my boy. They were clearly all animal lovers. The price is significant yes but they made me feel like it was worth it for him to be seen the same night by people who cared, rather than risking leaving it until the next day.

The Emergency vets are fantastic, my dog is nervous he was actually very calm with them. They checked him over. Would definitely go back to them. Thank you all for your kindness and professionalism
