   Most of the staff are very nice. But the pharmacist Ailina is a terrible person, one she breaks the law, doesn't know the law regarding controlled drugs and bank holidays. Every pharmacy I've ever visited know this legislation apart from this store. If its written it can be picked early by the doctor it is totally fine, even if it isn't written (which it WAS and the doctor will back me up) it's still fine as it's the pharmacists discretion and then home office guidelines state even that must be weighted in the patients favour. I rightly complained and then rather than admit her mistake she refused to serve me. I won't let this go. I have spoken to the family lawyer and we have grounds to sue for lose of earnings

   Never answer my calls especially when ive been needing to check if my prescription had come in (need it urgently). More helpful in person but need to have more people to answer phones cause not everyone can just pop into the pharmacy

   I went to this pharmacy on April 18th. After having to wait a long time to be served (there was only one person in front of me), I had to approach the second cashier because the first one refused to serve me (supposedly she was very busy). The fact is, I needed to ask about birth control pills. The woman looked at me silently for several seconds as if I were an alien, before finally answering me, asking which pills I took. I told her none, which is why I wanted to start taking them. After looking at me for several seconds, she said, "We don't sell them. Go to Queen Street." I will never enter this establishment again, full of rude people.

   Popped in today, appreciate it was a bank holiday, but picked up 3 items and waited at the till at the rear near pharmacy. Pharmacy was busy with queue, but myself and another lady were just waiting to pay. After 10-15 mins I started to think I must be invisible. There was a female member of staff sticking up Yardley perfumes that nobody buys any more, just behind the till. She didn’t so much as look at us, nor direct us anywhere else. I bet security guard gets busy, because I can see people getting fed up and just walking out. Finally I saw a (possibly Polish?) slightly more cheerful member of staff open the till near the door, so I rushed over to pay her and finally get out. I would’ve gone to Superdrug next door if they had what I needed- unfortunately, they didn’t! There was a young lad there last time I went, who was helpful, but honestly. Just get more staff? Big company like Boots?? Will try to avoid this branch at all costs. Useless.

   Today,Oct 5th, at around 4pm I stood in a queue, with a gentleman and 2 elderly ladies, at the pharmacy till...there were 4 members of staff at the other end of the counter, dealing with 1 customer....we stood for at least 10 to 12 mins with no acknowledgement. This is way beyond good customer care. I find this happens a lot at the pharmacy till. I know they're busy, but I feel at least one member of staff should have at least acknowledged us....the man and I left and went Super drug next door.

   I have used this pharmacy for over 10 years because it is was the most convenient location but the customer service is shocking. I collect repeat prescriptions every 28 days on a Friday and despite being scheduled for collection, it is never ready and the pharmacy assistants are incredibly rude (the pharmacists themselves are fine). This month I couldn't collect Friday due to work, came in on Saturday at 16.50, waited without being served or acknowledged for 10 minutes at the counter despite there being two pharmacy staff (the pharmacist was busy with a consultation). When I was finally served, I was told my prescription hadn't been checked, and would take another 15 minutes. I asked why it wasn't ready as it was scheduled for collection a day earlier. The assistant very rudely told me that it was due Saturday, nog Friday (not correct) they were short staffed (I have never seen more than three pharmacy staff there as it's tiny), they'd had a hard day and I'd just have to stand there and wait. At nearly 9 months pregnant, standing for half an hour to get a [late] repeat prescription was not possible and someone else was already occupying the only chair. I asked for a chair while I waited and the staff couldn't sort it out so the other customer vacated the chair so I could sit. Needless to say, I have finally taken my repeat prescriptions elsewhere after years of passive aggressive and downright aggressive pharmacy assistants. AVOID, AVOID AVOID.

   Irresponsible behaviour, worst experience . Item ordered from the store,and didn't received on the delivery date, got delayed. Nobody update you about the reason for delay, no exact date will be provided to you.just wait for their msg or item to be in the store. While ordering for the item ,nobody will say you all this thing ,but when you ask them, they will give you bunch of excuses. No cancellation is possible as item is on way Oh. Better to order from Amazon

   They lost my prescription "under some stuff" and I had to wait an hour in store before I could collect. The following month I called to see if my prescription was in, they said it was and it would be ready in 5. I went down an hour later and it wasn't ready. Shocking service; staff seem confused and very unhelpful. Ended up swapping to a different pharmacy.

   Very poor service. Just had my flu jab cancelled by text without any explanation, and when trying to call to enquire/re-book simply no answer. No doubt it's all down to Covid blah blah blah . . . this is the stock reply from any organisation wanting to hide behind an excuse for their inadequacies and poor customer service. By the way, the Boots booking website is a total disaster which for an organisation of their size is a joke. I appreciate that this isn't the fault of the Albany Road (Cardiff) store but it all helps to confirm that this outfit is in total disarray. It's time for their competitors to step-up and grab the opportunity because Boots are opening the door . . .
